Ah, I loved this game so much, even more than MGS2. Must've replayed it at least 10 times, it was that awesome. Can't wait for the HD version. The last few hours are among the best in gaming.
Yes, and she dies on the normal difficulty. There are 2 endings.
You did finish MP2, right? She's most likely dead considering how messed up Max is in this one, meaning the alternate ending is probably non-canon.
I'll wait a bit more before thinking about the noir vibe. We've only seen brief snippets of gameplay. Otherwise, shooting, graphics and gameplay look great to me. Writing doesn't seem as great as the first 2 games, but considering it's Rockstar, I have faith that they'll deliver.
Why's the thumbnail a picture of Alistair?
They have my respect for not milking the shit out of the game by cutting content and selling it later on. Really hate those dumbasses who actually complain about a lack of DLC, they're basically complaining about not being ripped off enough.
They blatantly messed with the pics from last year. Sneaky fucks.
You "could" care less?
So they've managed to fuck up the cutscenes' aspect ratio -_-
Grand story?
It's that time of month.
Making him look like Bruce Campbell just makes him more awesome.
Usually.
Off the top of my head, the only DLC that I remember actually being worth it was the two chapters for GTA 4. Other than that, mainly milking bullshit.
He was, but Vin Diesel killed him.
To each his own, I personally love the use of Euphoria in GTA, which was improved heavily in Red Dead. The physics in SR2, while fun, lacked weight, meaning that the shooting and general combat felt a little unsatisfying. From what I've seen from the SR3 gameplay, they've improved on that aspect a lot.
The hand to hand took some getting used to in GTA, but when you get down to it, it's very fun to use, especially compared with the lightweight system in SR2.
You forgot to mention that robbing stores is broken in SR2. Alarm always sounds when the safe opens, rendering it pointless.
Also, GTA has much better shooting, hand to hand and physics. Oh, and a far better storyline.
Still love the Saints Row series, though, can't wait for SR3.
If the game looked much worse than it should due to developer laziness (Mafia 2, Bayonetta, etc), then I'd understand. But the footage I've seen looks great. Sure, nowhere near the level of the PC version, but I think DICE have done extremely well with porting a PC game over to a console.
Anyone who doesn't mind EA pulling shit like this is a fucking idiot. It's an extremely underhanded practice.
Second game was awesome, but the stupid blur filter made it look worse than the original.
His look in that game suited him, because he was a veteran, and much more experienced and older. In MGS3, he's about 29, and a rookie, so yeah.
Rockstar themselves confirmed that Vic was killed at the start of Vice City. They just retconned him in VCS to be in better shape and have a different accent.
