Not sure how you come to terms that just because PS4 has 20+ consoles sales would equate to 20 more million purchases of Sunset Overdrive.
Maybe you should review PS4's attach ratio to get a better and logical idea on how many Sunset Overdrive purchases may occure.
I agree, the beginning of the year wasn't very good when it came to exclusives for the XB1 aside from Neverwinter and Elite Dangerous.
But like you said, a year is 12 months so it doean't really matter when they are released so long as its within that year. Sony had some exclusives at the beginning of the year thanks to some delays, and even they recognized the latter part of the year as being sparse.

I own all 3 Uncharteds for my PS3. I don't like having to pay top price for games I already own while having less content then their last gen counterparts.

Sony has said "Expect less AAA games from them because cost is getting too high". Does this sound like a company who is financially empowered? I don't think so.
Sony as a company have been losing money for years. They even had to cease paying dividends to their share holders because they couldn't afford it.
Why people still think Sony is not in a financial concern simply because 1 division is doing well is beyond rational.
It's a shame Sony's PS4 profits are offset by the rest of Sony's other floundering divisions.

I boycotted Kojima after finishing MGS4. 8 hours to complete and 4 hours of that was gameplay.

I don't want to give any spoilers but its not story thats recycled, its gameplay...a particular scene is mentioned on Neogaf that had the individual who played some had mentioned he was worried about the game.
We all know XBL seldom goes down and is the better online service by miles between Sonys PSN and MS XBL.
However, ever since Xbox One launched, ai have noticed XBL for 360 has had more issues lately then all of last gen combined. Something is going on. Maybe MS is focusing more on the XB1 side of network stability than the 360s side.
It does look interesting, but I thought the same thing about Little Big Planet when it was new and fresh and I ended up hating it.
I'm going to wait and maybe buy it used when it's cheap.

I don't think you understand. The size of the PS4 market base is irrelevant. Whether its 20 PS4 owners, 20 thousand owners or 20 million owners, the sales of SSOD could still be zero. The variable to determin the number of sales that would have helped Insomniac would have to either = or be > the cost MS put forth in the deal. A number nobody knows.
The best way to determin what level of sales SSOD could have had on the PS4 is to calculate...
