Can't blame you there! Besides its few caveats, the gameplay is rather enjoyable, especially when you begin switching between characters and spells.

I'm feeling probably the same thing for Destiny 2 will happen where the next big update (like taken king) will be the true thing that may buy in new players and some returning

"unfortunately V-II saves don't transfer to V-IIR"
You sir, just stabbed me in the heart with that ;-;
I know it wont be likely, but I'd hope they patch in for imported saves, because (while im not completely finished with V2) I certainly wouldn't want to start it again just for unlocks of PS VR content
Other than that, solid review!

I remember hearing about this smaller series from Falcom during a fan panel at MAGFest this past year. I gotta this a look along with Trails in the Sky FC and SC sometime.

It is oddly uncanny that they haven't worked on a new IP. What they lack in new creations they make up for in support for games for years and years

so far its looking alot better for Switch, simply because it feels like Nintendo wants to support the system for alot longer. You can see that Nintendo,because of its sales numbers already, wants to support it cause there's just alot more mileage with the system.

The one other good thing about the Wii U now, is that while the original Wii's price rates wont be going up anytime soon,the Wii U's definitely will simply because of the tech on hand

OP Here! You are totally right, sequels don't all necessarily have to be completely flipped from its predecessor in order to be considered a proper sequel. I mean hell, Saints Row 4 did that by literally copy-pasting the main city from the previous game and throwing in new powers/things to do. However the one issue that plagued the original destiny (vanilla) was that things felt rather same-y after you beat the main story missions. The only things you could do post game was primarily run ...

OP Here! Yeah there was certainly more of a focus more on primary weapon usage i.e why power ammo still takes a good while to spawn in general. Plus noticed again that getting your special ability did not come nearly as quickly as it was originally back in vanilla destiny. It certainly made it lean more towards sticking with your team throughout matches if wanted to take out the enemy efficiently as possible
