No, in LoL you can't pay to be better than your opponents. Every week they give out free heroes to play, and each game won gives you about 100-200 IP (the in-game currency) and with the IP you could buy Champions (Heroes), their price range from 450, 1350, 3150, 4800 and lastly 6300. Riot isn't forcing anyone to but the champions with real money, you could still play LoL WITHOUT paying. And not everyone has money to burn.

Aw, I was hoping it to be on rush mode. Conquest on consoles isn't as fast paced as rush. If only I had the money to afford a gaming rig.
