Doing more than likely the same. Always owned all systems. I have a Wii u, ps4 payed for, and xbone, I'll hold off to see if it's reliable and see if they make more changes. I'll wait for a price drop because they definitely don't deserve 500 after all the crap they pulled.
I still re play this game just about every year and love it just as much. This is still my favorite game of all time.

I kind of agree with what this article is getting at. Yet some of the best experiences this Gen seem to fit in with this. I look at it this way, they are no longer just games, but full on entertainment experiences.
With that said I actually had fun playing the last of us. I do wish they would have incorporated manhunt type executions for a little more variety.
If they decide to make a sequel I can't imagine how much better it will be after building onto the first.
I think most are there for a while. Just this month I downloaded gravity daze, deus ex, xcom, and saint row 3 all for free. Ps+ is really a ridiculously good deal. I was thinking about buying gravity daze when I realized I can get it free with + so I renewed after not having it for a year and got a whole bunch of other games free plus auto updates.
Also once you download them you can always play them as long as you have ps+
I used the c sticks to move and the analog to look around. Made it so much better that way.

Launch ps3 controllers still hold a charge. Guess how many battery packs I had to buy for my X box before I gave up and just leave them plugged in to the usb charger. Yes my wireless X box controllers are now wired because after buying a fourth battery pack I said screw it.
If you don't play your X box for a month or two and the controller doesn't get charged say bye to your battery.

Well said. Till this day I haven't played a better online shooter than Socom 1 and 2. The amount of time I put into those games was ridiculous.
Has it made it more appealing? Well, definitely has but there are still a few issues. I'm happy consumers stood up and got it their way, at least partially. I might buy one in the future when the price goes down.
Keep complaining, I will state the negatives even for my favorite system. If we act like nothing is wrong, nothing will change.

Who cares? I do. I don't want to buy a one to play this and don't feel like playing it on the 360. I also want to avoid the PC because shooters tend to get a lot of cheaters. I'm sure eventually it will come to ps4, if not the sequel will and that is when I'll buy it.

I bought the ps4 today they had 3 left. I wanted mine guaranteed launch day.
Ps2 had no competition yet look at the games we got. I prefer competition between software instead of hardware. This Gen when ps3 and 360 were neck and neck we had a lot of sequels that hardly innovated and felt like the same crap over and over. Most games tried to be like call of duty to get sales between the two huge install bases.
