Don't know how to score our games? At least we can admit when a game dosen't deserve the score we gave it and can back up why. Tell me, why should Call of Duty, a game that has millions of fans shouldn't improve and actually feel like a sequel? That's pretty a much a slap in the face to its fans on all fronts. They have more money than most devs to use on the game and make it a better package but they don't.
So if what I read correctly from your comment yo...
Not exactly, the article mentions games like Batman and Battlefield as well. When you go back and think, it's like wait a sec. These games made huge improvements over the last installment. Should you really let COD get away with not innovating and making the game better? I don't think so.
EDIT: Yes, BUT as I've spent even more time with with the game I felt that wasn't a fair score. I didn't change the contents of the review at all. Our scores are based on...
Yea, I mean that part where your holding your own and the taliban are coming out of the hills, I really thought the whole squad was going to die.
A typical FPS? You obviously haven't played Bioshock.
I really liked Enslaved. You should try it as you seem to be an adventure guy ha. May not be the best game in the world, but the character interaction is really top notch.
Really is a great game, but for as much as I loved the campaign, I do have to agree with the people saying Uncharted 2's was much better. Not to say Uncharted 3's is bad at all because it's not.
I love quick scoping. Something you can't really find in other FPS's
Assassin's Creed has gotten better every year in my opinion. If you understand the story it's a great game.
Sorry got mixed up with terms, that's what school does to ya ha. Either way the government is really starting to get on my nerves. Like the people above said, they're focusing on shit that doesn't even matter right now. We've got too many other issues to worry about right now, mainly the econ.
This country is really starting to have me worried. The more and more of these crazy bills that get passed the closer and closer we are to becoming socialists.
this bill is so bullshit. So what if people put footage up of Cod or any other game? Not like anyone's making millions of dollars off of it. Some copyright laws are just becoming downright outrageous. Hell what happens to the games that have video up-loaders built into them? Ie. Just Cause 2, Uncharted etc
Saints Row really looks like a breath of fun.
See ya next year ha
overrated? Lol, people are starting to really forget what gaming is..
I'd like to know how you think it's worse? In my opinion Uncharted 3, until I get my Skyrim review copy sometime this week is in my top 3 best games I've ever played.
No need for another Uncharted?? Why not? The games quality has only improved with each release. I can definitely live with an uncharted game being released every 2 years.
That's my point bud. They shouldn't be based on opinion. When I read a review I want to know if it's a quality product. Smartass
Does it really matter why one person isn't buying the game? Seriously please quit wasting your time trying to preach to people. Yes, hits are important, but cmon
LOL , so Mr. Chick. Battlefield 3 is an 8 out of 10 and Uncharted 3 is a 4 out of town. That right there proves his reviews are all based on opinion. In no way am I saying Battlefield 3 is a bad game. An 8 out of 10 is a fine score.
The review was not changed at all. Every word is still the same. I'm happy with MW3 as it is, but in my opinion it doesn't seem fair to give the game as high as a score as games like Batman etc spend so much time trying to be the best it can be. I know people will say oh we can't trust Velocity Gamer etc. I expected that, but if I have the guts to change a score I think that says something. Either way think what you will.
