They will never go Day and date. It's worked out too well the way they've been doing it in that regard. Only straight mutliplaer games will go day and date.

So this counts against the score?, Why? Cuz you couldn't do it properly? and yet games like Elden Ring and other sorts get a pass? It astonished me that this is even mentioned in the "Bad" section. Sony games really do get reviewed just a little bit more harsher than Nintendo games of the same type.

Correct me if I am wrong, but wasn't the complaint about the longetivity of the game and the repetiveness? I think the game play would have been really great. So much so that Naughty Dog were excited about it. But the game just wasn't fit for a live service

I think you'll find most playstation fans are not defending this game. I think the characters are bland and boring. I won't be playing the game. I prefer single player and so do other hardcore PS fans
I might be more excited for this game than even GTA6, but there is no way in hell I'm watching anything else on this game. I just want to play it :-(
I believe it's not a "bad game" and I think people think it plays well. It's just the majority of people are not interested because of so many other options out there and they're uninterested in these bland boring characters. They're not cool. They're not interesting.

This game is not for me and I also think the characters look so boring. Like they're more concerned with DEI than creating interesting characters. They all seem so unlikeable. The sooner Sony gets back to making mostly single player, then the better

That's just a lie. Sony and many other devs go for performance modes and are nearly always really really good. The majority of players, according to Sony's numbers, prefer Performance modes over standard modes by a large margin. You only need common sense to realise that's true. People like higher frame rates overwhelmingly.
That's why there was a big uproar when Starfield was targeting 30 fps. It was out of the ordinary. And they lied and said it wasn't...
