People that disagree with this are idiots. Whether you like the games or not (I don't like Gears), they have influenced a lot of games, a lot of games have used various elements that Gears created or popularised.

I'd think that Half Life 3 will become the best selling PC game of all time - and it would be sold through their own means (Steam) so they keep all the profit. Sony would need deep pockets to out-buy that, I think they'd end up spending more than they'd bring in.

Think, if it has been 3 years with little to no solid rumours, the game probably isn't due for at least another year or two - they aren't going to spend 5 years making a 3 hour singleplayer. The uproar that would be caused if after all this time they just released Episode 3 would be enormous.

Brilliant news, yes. I absolutely loved the Rainbow Six Vegas series (too young to have played the rest personally) so I can't wait for the new series! I hope if anything it becomes a bit more tactical!
So many people say they will buy it and then don't. I've said I'm buying a PS3 for the last 3 years.
Also the survey has gone to big PS3 fans, which only make up a minority of PS3 owners. Most PS3 owners are not 'hardcore gamers' which visit gaming websites like we do.

You're wrong:
Families usually have a few accounts linked to their consoles. And so, for example, if me and my brother both wanted to play the same DLC we expect to only have to pay for it once, and then the whole console can use it.
Instead; we'd have to buy a copy of the DLC each - which doesn't happen on Xbox nor on most PS3 DLCs as far as I'm aware.
Glad I bought this too - CD Projekt deserve it!
