because the tekken tag games have nothing to do with tekken main storyline.it's just a spin off.lets say it's like asking why a new recent game called tekken volleyball doesn't have a story or asking why a dead character is there.only the main tekken games have main story and new improvements ;)

probably because it's A- not a shooter B- not being made by a big studio/company name to attract attention though I hope that it's good.the industry is filled with FPS and shooters to the point that months can pass by before we can get a good game which isn't a shooter.
IGN gave it the same score as Gamespot.well I guess it's just GOW3 and Bayonetta for the slash & hack genre this year.especially for a person like me who can't rent or try games and have to order games from another country (we don't have PS3 games here) :/
at the time FFXIII was announced multi or even before it was released nobody thought that the game wouldn't be as great as all the Final Fantasy games.You should look at it at the time it was announced,not after it release.portal 2 could be average too but we won't know until the game is out right? yet it didn't change the impact of this news ;)
FFXIII moving to Xbox360 was bigger for obvious reasons.FF franchise is a well known and recognized franchise to many gamers,if not all.portal 2 going to PS3 was shocking because of the guy himself,not the game.unlike Final Fantasy because the franchise itself is huge.I mean itagaki hated the PS3 too but his first game after he left tecmo is a multi and this news didn't make a huge impact and most ps3 fans felt nice about it and portal 2 is almost the same case so we shouldn't make it...
bayonetta on the ps3 is playable but you would be kidding if you say that the game was the same as the xbox360 version.I could care less about slowdown,less textures and loading time (the loading time issue isn't anymore after the patch) about frame rates? 60 frames vs 30 frames is a lot of difference.even when the game struggles it's 45 fps vs 25 or 20 fps.I could mention a simple example here.we all know tekken and we all know that it runs at 60 fps.now imagine the other console had...
what i liked in this article is that they picked PES5 aka winning eleven 9 as the best PES/WE game in the series.we weeks ago me and my friends were discussing about it and I told them that PES5/WE9 was the best in the series and it fixed a lot of the mistakes which made me hate playing PES4/WE8 ;)

did I say tekken 1 was bad? tekken tag is tekken 3 with tag mode added some characters. tekken 5 DR is just tekken 5 with online mode and plus 2 characters.I'm taking about the next new tekken game in the series which means 1,2,3,4,5,7,8...etc so the theory is still on.I excluded spin off or games that aren't true sequels from what I mentioned cus that what they were,spin off not the next real thing.
I think Tekken 7 will be great.if you take a look at tekken games history,you'll notice that the first games to hit the console are usually not that good while it improves amazingly in the second game.it's why I felt that tekken 6 won't be that good while the tekken 7 will be better.take a look:

exactly.he hates tekken since the psx era.I remember an interview with him when he was making the first DOA for the psx,saying that DOA is better than tekken because his characters' feet touches the ground while tekken characters' feet doesn't all the time so this is like really old news!the guy hates competition,especially from games which have proven to be more successful than his games :P
actually these are disappointing sales numbers.I'm talking about NGS2 sales.compared to other hack & slash games,NGS2 probably had the lowest sales numbers so I don't know how some people say it's a good thing for it.
Edit below: Bayonetta,Darksiders and Dante's Inferno are not mainstream titles and are new IPs yet the PS3 version of those 3 outsold NGS2.
