I'm actually glad to see Freedom Fighters on that list. It was an awesome game and kept me glued to my chair. Not a bad list by any means.

The build that we played was all local and included Dante and a few others recently announced. There was another build that had the cross platform play and let me tell you that it was smooth as hell!
I was surprised because I was skeptical as well and then it was seamless jumping back and forth. There was a big screen (mainstage) that everyone preferred to play on to show off their skills but the cross play was a huge draw as well.

I'll be sure to check it out when I get home but it's a shame honestly. I had a great time with the game.
I had a chance to play (and MC) some PSAS action at the latest MLG event and let me tell you that the game drew in hundreds of people to the Sony booth! It was a massive hit and there were crowds waiting to play CONSTANTLY! It's a genuinely fun game and the people behind this project are very passionate about what they are doing.
It was great to feel the old-school "I got next" atmosphere return to a videogame.
Day one purchase for me.

I agree. Having competed in CoD for a large protion of my eSports career I can honestly say that it's becoming bland and lacks a proper metagame. UC3 is a beast in my eyes when it comes to MP. It's like Naughty Dog "gets it".

I actually did read the article and it was a double standard to say the least. I think the "Console Wars" are dumb but this article was just for some hits...
I gave up my PS1 for Phantasy Star Online for the Dreamcast and being the complete noob I was (not anymore!) didn't even have ONLINE!

Biggest mistake I ever made!
Being a huge fan of Halo (I got the books and all the games even the helmet!) I must say I was under whelmed with Halo 3. Halo 2 wasn't all that great either it just had the impeccable online function. Honestly, since Halo: CE the franchise just became a joke. I got to give M$ credit though for the marketing of the game, and being the sucker for Halo that I am I will be getting ODST.
