Still wondering what's going to happen now that they're under the same roof.
Smart thing would be to let Obsidian do a remake or other Fallout location, only with money behind it.
Worst thing likely to happen is Bethesda gets their noses rubbed in a better project, and put more effort into their projects as result.
Still not good Sony made a profit mandate, and Bungie leadership chose itself over its talent.
No gameplay and likely 5+ years of development for either Blade or OD.
Not good if Bungie was hired for its talent, and Sony's laying off its talent.
Or Disney want it multi.
Thing is, how familiar are the devs behind Deathloop and Dishonored with a DMC type game?
Ha-ha-ha...No...
Doesn't look good for ANY digital-only content the whole industry is pushing.
"Would you rather people support Xbox when they put in minimum effort?"
How isn't that happening now with them being praised for Minecraft and Starfield? H-Fi Rush and even Redfall - even despite reaction to it.
No. If it were "right", then Xbox would be a more competent platform. Instead, each iteration seems to fair worse than the last.
As if such were possible.
The Xbox series is meaningless. Especially the more Game Pass is made accessible without needing a console.
MS is a monopoly. One barely held in check by a largely apathetic, corrupt government.
Isn't that the real we're dealing with this stupid story: either Xbox - or Sony - fans believe MS just has to say something, be rumored to have said something, and its suppose to happen? Multiple instances of face-falling aside.
"They are working hard to ruin console gaming."
Past tense. Why do you think they're moving on to mobile?
But they can only do that by buying up 3rd parties. And in that, if they announcing such was the plan, they're doing it wrong by making certain titles exclusive to their own platform(s).
Standard for Bethesda you mean. Fallout 76 aside for having as many issues, failing to live up to official hype, not even Tod Howard could simply brush them off.
The Xbox camp blaming someone other than MS for Xbox's market position after all this time.
All the hype for titles like Quantum Break and Crackdown w/cloud support only for them to crash and burn on a technical basis, showing off Halo Infinite and the vampire game expecting them to wow only to draw laughs instead, that's your "Xbox Tax".
Meh,
If a game supporter's going to the trouble to begging others to buy it when there's only one option, maybe the company should offer more options. Like physical versions.
@Einhander1972:
So, aside from telling me I got companies/studios wrong all this time, I'll be waiting longer than thought.
Which was already waiting well past the heat/death of the universe...
What you're complaining about might have some weight, if not for most - if not all - Bethesda/Todd Howard titles releasing in sub-par states. Seeing updates patches and largely mods to improve them.
