Konami doesn't care about console, PC or even mobile games any more. It is a "Gaming (gambling) machine" company thru & thru.

Sony Asia blamed this as a "technical issue".

@ slayernz You sound like that is some kind of donation to Sony, instead of buying a product from Sony. When has Sony become a religion?

Blizzard has been honest about what kind of game it is making here (unlike a certain "S" company with their "G" game). This game is not made for Western PC/ console gamers. So it doesn't matter (for Blizzard) that this game game a 0 mark at Western review community.

I think part of the reason is China: for several years now, it is impossible to "sell" a complete, finished game in China. Chinese censor stop issue licence for any finished game. So all the current games in China can only be "subsided" within a state of "perpetual beta test". Developer can never "finish" their development in China.

Sony is ramping up the production of PS4, so the answer is "No". Now who is holding back the "current gen games"?

For gamers in America & European countries, Diablo Immortal is not for you. It is aiming for Chinese & Asian markets, where free-to-play games & loot box are the norm rather then the exception. We should wait for the Diablo IV & ignore this one.

i'll ask a similar question: Has Sony & Nintendo boxed themselves into box game (physical copy) sales? Also has MS un-boxed itself of the profit on ALL OF THEIR software now, since ALL of their software (MS Office, Exchange, SQL ,etc,) are offered thru subscription services. I think the answer is quite obvious, right?

"Imagine Fifa license with PES mechanics." No i can't imagine that ever happen. Even FIFA doesn't think the licence fee is profitable for them, Konami would not be able to pay that licence up front.

Of cause. Pachinko machine is borderline gambling in Japan. Konami also makes big horse-racing card arcade machines, which are also kind of gambling in Japan.

Is CyberPunk 2077 a "good quality" game? Are MLB the Show 2021 & 2022 not "good quality" games (which are developed by Sony Monica)? The quality of a game & how gamer pay a game are 2 different issues.

Strangely (or lucky) for me, I haven't experience those issue from Hong Kong. Maybe it is a regional issue?

Lucky for me? I haven't experience that issue so far. I can play all of my games, including GamePass games.

Why, Sony believers, why is it "insanely pro-consumer" when your Sony church doesn't want you to convert your PS Plus subscription on cheap now, when MS invite existing Xbox Live Gold member to convert to GamePass for $1 ? MS even convert my 1 years Xbox Live for $1 TOTAL (not $1 per month)!!!!

@SurgicalMenace
Sony should add another, even higher tier, call PS Donation. In this tier, you donate $30 per month to Sony, & you won't expect any "dis-loyal" earthly reward like free games or 2 hrs demo. This tier is for you to show your true loyalty to Sony, just like your donation to your church.

Very Sony. Very "insanely pro-consumer"!!!!!!!!

Ys' I & II was originally a single game. Deal to delay & the limitation Japanese PC98 computer system (a Japanese only PC environment that was very similar to IBM PC at the time). It was until the PCEngine console, with CD-ROM, that combine the 2 games back into a single game. Ys' I & II also the 1st game with voiced pre-rendered sequence. This start the Japanese love on voiced pre-rendered sequence until now,

I've tried to reply the Witcher 2 last year (I finished 2 & loved it back at my Xbox 360 days). The game play design felt restrictive & old-school. It may not standup to modern game design standard, unless a complete re-make.

@Lightning77 You're talking about Nintendo, right? There is also no big exclusive for Switch (apart from the complete edition of Mario Kart). So you also mean Nintendo should not be the top spot?
