Don't give Septic attention he is the biggest troll on N4G. You all have noticed he is a trouble maker.
The difference is noticeable with the naked eye, but it's not a night and day difference. If you have a TV with HDR that's where the real difference shines, but it's not like the games on the standard systems are going to suddenly look bad or even hugely inferior.
On the switches screen it will look awesome, hopefully the FPS is good also.
Who are these dumb fikks trying to start a controversy where there is none. Childish people.
@naruga
How old are you.
Good luck to Bruce on whatever he is doing next, can't wait to here about it. Also, thanks for being a big part of some of my favorite games.
Destiny 2 probably sold many more digital copies than Destiny 1 did on release. It already has 1.2 million concurrent players. In spite of all the haters on N4G Destiny 1 sold pretty well and had a very large player base for a long time. Just proves jaded, negative fanboys can't keep a good game down. The game will sell best probably on PS4, then PC, then Xbox One, just the way it is.
There are lots of PC owners but there are not over 60 million (probably much less) tha...
Many people use game controllers on PC these days, there are lots of games that just work better with a game controller, there are many games that work better with mouse and Keyboard. I use both on my PC.
Many of those Elite controllers are sold to PC gamers. Also PS4 controllers sell very well also, probably many more than the Elite controller, at least looking at top 100 hundred charts for many online retailers seems to suggest that PS4 controllers sell very well, so do Xbox One controllers. It's kinda a thing to collect game controllers these days, I myself own 15 controllers between my five gaming platforms. Don't think there's any real indication that because the Elite control...
Been playing all day on my Pro, hasn't crashed yet.
Both consoles are great from a hardware perspective, Xbox One X having more powerful hardware. The problem is the business end of the Xbox Brand is terrible, Phil has done a terrible Job, Greenburgh Has done a terrible job marketing the system, Major Nelson though likeable just comes off as a used car salesman most of the time. They made so many exaggerated promises that never get kept, they haven't followed through properly on anything this generation with backwards compatibility being t...
We will never know how well it sells because they won't give sales numbers. Seems kinda douchey to brag about potential sales and then not give solid numbers but isn't that how the whole Xbox Division operated. Smoke and mirrors, smoke and mirrors.
That's funny, the Switch is still selling out very quickly every time they are available.
@MegamanXXX
I said exactly what was true. There are no long load times on the PC version, the textures and resolution are still better on the PC version, depending on the PC, as I said in the earlier post the PC version does have some bugs but not as many as the Xbox One version of the game. As for stuttering it was reduced some on the Xbox One Version of the game but it still happens quite often, on my PC there has been no stuttering at all during game play, granted I have...
Game still runs terrible on Xbox One, the load times are better but better does not mean good, textures and resolution are better but the game still stutters a lot during game play, game still has bugs after several months of further development. PC version runs well and load times are good still some bugs. Decent game on PC, not so decent on Xbox One S from a technical stand point, hopefully will be better on Xbox One X.
The difference between the PS4 Pro version of Tomb Raider and Xbox One X version is not not night and day, to most people it's going to seem minimal if they can notice at all, only if you are comparing them side by side can you see a difference, also most of the shots they compare are zoomed in, the ones that aren't zoomed in you really can't see any difference.
No console has hit mass market sales numbers at a $500.00 price point. I don't think with the Xbo...
I do not understand why he is the head of marketing still.
PS4 still sell more copies of AAA games for the most part than PC and there is a huge problem with piracy and cheating on PC.
@darthv72
Nearly every FPS sells better on PS4, most all Multi platform games sell better on PS4. PS4 is known for being the best all around console not just the SP console. The people that moved away from Xbox to PS4 didn't stop playing games and considering that PS4 has sold probably more than double the consoles (65 million plus) over Xbox One (somewhere between 30 and 35 million) a lot have moved away from Xbox.
Except none of those games are very easy.
The Xbox One X is for core gamers, but in order to sell large numbers of consoles it has to be consumer friendly, have a consumer friendly price, which it doesn't have especially with the added expense of buying a 4k tv. We see the same thing with PS4 Pro even though the price is cheaper for the console people are still buying the standard PS4, one because they don't have a 4k tv, two the difference in the quality is not night and day, for the average consumer they can't see the d...
Just like everything about Xbox has to be pointed out even the most obvious thing, like when Microsoft did a video announcing Xbox One X dev kits, like it was the first ever, when every console has had dev kits. All video electronics these days do things to prevent burn in on TV's, and almost all TV's have things built in to prevent burn in also.
The Xbox One is so powerful it can dim the screen to prevent burn in./S. Microsoft' s software engineers are so smar...
