Let's get digital!
Oh this is an easy question game play.
What's the point of a pretty game that plays awful?
Or an online game you can't control?
We did, we had 210 nominees (all selected from various members of the community), and posted a poll on the site for a week and a half. Everyone was free to vote for their Top 3 from that list. And the 10 highest ranking ones became the list.
How would Skyrim, a game that isn't out for 3 weeks, even be qualified to be on an all-time greatest games list?
The picture is my fault, and I shall fix it.
As for repeating franchises, I actually agree with you folks, but I made a call not to question how the voting went.
If you start cherry-picking, what should and shouldn't be on the list, it defeats the purpose of leaving the vote up to our audience?
So what are the chances this game actually keeps its name when it comes to the West?
The game looks nice, but I mean how many other big games do they have lined up for 2012?
This game looks like a lot of fun.
And while it does try and nickel and dime the consumer, at least you get some real world objects with it
I'm still shocked this got announced AFTER and is releasing BEFORE Final Fantasy Versus XIII.
I personally don't agree with nominating Ocarina of Time since it is a re-release.
I mean we've always known that NPD doesn't/didn't track Wal-mart, and that it would help bolster sales of certain games.
Don't see how this is new.
There are a ton of "Good" comic book games, Spider-man has turned it around with Spider-man 2, Ultimate Spider-man, and I even like some of his current gen stuff like Friend or Foe (if you go in knowing for kids) and Shattered Dimensions.
Batman has had Arkham Asylum, and soon city.
But would like to say a special shout-out to Batman: The Brave and the Bold, a fun beat-em up title, and some from last gen including Rise of Sin Tzu, which is fun in co...
Kirby's Adventure just sounds like Kirby Return to Dreamland for Japan.
Monster Hunter Island is obviously the Animal Crossing + Monster Hunter spin-off we've been waiting for.
Another new color?
The game looks good, but the screenshots are so tiny
To be fair, Mass Effect 2 had an "online pass" as well with the Cerebrus Network thingie.
Dragon Quest doesn't sell millions outside of Japan and Pokemon isn't on consoles.
You were a fan of that game?
I don't know of many million selling RPGs that aren't like Final Fantasy.
Sure you get like Mass Effect and Morrowind, but that's about it for the genre. Unless I'm wrong.
I think.. its an interesting point, but I don't lay it solely on Nintendo, but honestly they need to work with 3rd parties.
I mean when you think about it MS had the same drought, they've only released Gears of War 3 so far this year, but it was hidden in the fact that they got so many multi-platform releases throughout the year.
Nintendo has its work cut out since it is currently supporting 3 consoles on the market, and preparing for the launch of a ...
