It's happening. We've seen it and we've played it and it's bigger in scope than the 1st one and it doesn't hold you into one area. It's on a ... how should we say it "Grand" scale.
I got actual hands on time with this game and it isn't looking good. It was very sloppy and choppy to say the very least. Infamous is looking to be the better game, with the only real hang up I can see being the target system in it. Infamous also allows for better animations for each individual, although not a graphical master piece it was about two car lengths better than what I was able to play of Prototype.
It moves plenty fast enough. This isn't a Sonic game, mind you. This is a very different experience than anything we've ever been subjected to in gaming. It is the building blocks for something much bigger to come in the future, to be sure.
However, there is nothing stopping you from putting rockets on your guys and making them scoot through a level at break neck speeds, if you so wish to do so. you can also work with the hover tools and momentum tools to do this or both.
At E3 a select few were able to see the big feature Media Molecule will be showing off at Leip and it was a nice addition to the game. It is basically a top down view and it allows you to create your levels in width, instead of depth.
The cool thing, we were told, is that you can even implement cross sections of the game this way. Meaning, you can go from side to top down with in your own levels and you are in control of where to toggle this.

The BBC was shown the same footage I was shown as well as 30 other journalist. The game we were all shown was a fighting game and it was project "Tears of Blood" ... This game and that game are not one in the same.
Sony has 3 games that are going to knock you into next year and the good news is; all 3 will be shown at LIP.

Sony isn't restricting anyone by adding a new sku to their line up. We all know one was coming. I knew it 3 or 4 weeks ago when the 80gb sku's were halted and assessed across all Gamestops top suppliers.

If they follow through with the promise of their downloadable content, opposed to new additions, like they were talking to me bout at E-3 then this game has legs to stand on.
The grapple system works, the animations were 2 gens ahead of the smackdown series and the whole graphical production was tight and well laid out. The only thing I hated or had problems with were the run and the pick ups.
Aside from that the crowds weren't as interactive or next gen looki...
