You're right, I just noticed I don't have the multipliers all the way up. My mistake. I have gotten used to not having the MSAA multiplier all the way up. But that is the only thing. I will execute benchmarks and see my average FPS with it.
This thing is super optimized. I am maxing 1440p with a 1ghz 780. I didn't think I would be able to. Sure beats the hell out of the joke Assassin's creed has become on PC.
Your numbers are based on the premise that there are just as many capable GTA V PCs out there as there are consoles for one particular platform. I don't think there is. Although there maybe a lot of PC gamers out there, not all of them have a system that can handle GTA. I think one million on day one is an amazing figure to ignorant people who think all PC gamers are pirates. We really need the numbers comparing purchases per capable pc and get the ratio to really get telling information,...
I am an exclusive PC gamer other than my 3DS! LOL
See, PC gamers aren't all created equal. Some PC gamers have hardware that can handle GTA and some don't. You can still be a PC gamer and have a PC that can't handle GTA but I am not speaking about that. I am talking about the amount of PCs out there that actually have the capability of handling GTA V. So I am saying that it isn't fair to say that 1 million isn't as impressive as the whatever million seen ...
Considering that there are more consoles out there than there are gaming PCs, it is. See, you're assuming that there are a comparable amount of gaming PCs out there to the consoles and that just isn't true. So if you factor the percentage of purchases based on capable gaming PCs in comparison with how many of a console were sold and how many people bought GTA V for that particular console (compare with one console only) then you get more telling information. It is difficult, of course...
God I love these numbers. I wish I could rub this in the face of people that think that all PC gamers are pirates. PC gaming looking strong!! :)
Give me a PC version and I am down to beat it for the millionth time.
Not buying this day one for the same reasons I didn't get Evolve day one. I do not like games that nickel and dime people. I may get it after a dramatic price slash.
@vishmarx Oh! You're talking about the beta! :P
Yeah, steam users had an easier time. My nephew started the download after I did and he finished first. Unfortunately I ordered from the rockstar warehouse and it finished the update but then would say server failure and would redownload again. The speed of the download was very slow too so it was painful. It was at least a 20 minute difference from steam and my nephew has slower internet. Once that happened though, the game is butter smooth. I hope people downloaded the nvida driver for GTA....
Honestly, the requirements are really low. This is huge because people were bashing Rockstar about all the time it took to make the PC version of the game but it appears it maybe the most optimized game PC has had in a long time. 4K 30fps with a 760?! Insane lol
I really wish I had the monitor and PC for 4k but 1440p will do. So exited! Already pre-loaded :)
Gonna be playing this bad boy at 1440p. Will see how my 780 fares.
I believe it comes with heist and it comes with extra music also. It's just all bunched up into one package.
That's not so big. Ubisoft games tend to be storage hungry so I am used to it. I have a full TB dedicated to games but I am starting to run low on space :/
I hope this means they will keep the date. I can't wait to spend all that bonus cash on a sick outfit online :P
Pc gamers be like damn, that's so expensive! Steam ftw but really good for console game prices though! I saw the sale on target. Hopefully this means better prices are coming for consoles in general.
You guys really thought it was hard? I mean it was decently difficult but the saves anywhere it was safe made it easier than it had to be. I think if it had more limited areas in which people could save it would have been the perfect kind of difficult.
Do it bro. Just beat it today and it's so sick. Definitely did not feel like it was an indie. It puts a lot of so called AAA titles to shame.
Man, steam updates are much smaller. I probably should have got that instead of the Rockstar Social Club.
