I'm still waiting to be refunded for my purchase of Haze.
I think you are onto something here. I've heard a rumor that the PS3 version also releases microscopic particles into the air that instantly gives you AIDS. Stay safe, guys.
My problem with Alan wake wasn't because of the story spoilers, it was because of the voice actor they used. His congested, snot-filled voice was completely disgusting, and I found myself gritting my teeth every time Alan Wake would say something in the game (which was about every 3 seconds). It seriously ruined the game for me.
This constant "support the developers" propaganda is getting old (and friggin lame). There are very few games that have been made in the last 10 years that I feel are worth $60, and if you try to force me to pay $60 for them I will simply tell you to go f**k yourself, and I will stop playing games. The video game industry brings in MASSIVE amounts of cash every year, yet we have to hear a never ending cry-fest over used game sales? Seriousl...
I've done all my gaming since the Atari 2600 in one place: the couch. I can't imagine playing my console games while sitting at a desk. That would just feel "wrong". In fact, I can't even imagine playing my PC games at a desk. I have all of my consoles and my PC connected to my 50" HDTV and 7.1 home theater system, all nicely setup and calibrated 6 feet from my comfy couch.
I really liked Trials HD, but the retarded level of difficulty in the later levels completely ruined the fun for me. That's why I play games, to have fun, so when a game makes it almost impossible to complete a level I simply stop playing it (and it makes me much less likely to purchase another one of their games in the future).
The only thing more lame than the online pass idea are the shills that pretend to love it (in a sad attempt to convince gamers that it is really in their best interest).
My main concern with the Wii U (other than the price) is games. All the cool tech in the world will not get me to pay anywhere near full price for one unless Nintendo shows a strong commitment right out of the gate that they are focusing just as much (if not more) on the core gamers as they are on the casuals. I believe Nintendo has heard the cries from their more hardcore fans and will "get it right" with the Wii U, but only time will tell.
"LMAO, you're really arguing that every person in the world should prefer an X360 controller lol.." Yeah, that's pretty much what I'm saying. Most people are willing to admit it, the rest post here on N4G. lol
The price for these controllers is probably going to be scary.
"I hate the x360 controller, guess its personal preference but to me its nowhere as comfortable as a PS3 one" It's very hard for me to believe that anyone could honestly prefer the Dualshock over the 360 controller, unless they only used the D-pad to play games and/or had the hands of a 7 year old asian boy. I suspect that 99.9% of the people that claim to prefer the PS3 controller have either never held a 360 controller, or simply refuse to adm...
Dirt was a Rally franchise, then it wasn't, now it is again. I like it better when it isn't. I'm sure Colin McRae would be more upset with his name being completely removed from the Dirt games than he would by me not liking Rally racing. I'm guessing that Codemasters decided to remove his name from the game's title once they realized that only a handful of people even know who he is, let alone give a crap whether his name is linked...
Dirt 3 was a big disappointment for me. Codemasters clearly listened to all 27 of the Rally fans that were crying about the lack of it in Dirt 2 and gave us a steaming pile of it in Dirt 3. If Dirt 4 continues to push the Rally crap down people's throats I will simply give up on the series and spend my money on something else.
Allowing a 3 year old child to watch and/or play violent video games makes you a pure D-bag, plain and simple. I wonder what other wildly inappropriate things are being done with this child...
Sony made so many retarded decisions with the launch of the PS3 that it was no surprise at all when they struggled with sales/image for several years. They took an amazing brand and made it a laughing stock in one generation. Truly an epic fail if there ever was one. They have slowly corrected those initial mistakes, though, and the Playstation brand is doing better because of it, but Sony has done serious damage to its reputation, and they will continue to f...
I get alarmed when I think about the incoming COD hate that will be on full display when MW3 breaks records and destroys the competition next month. We will be treated to a constant stream of "OMGZ this game is for stupid newbs, BF3 is 43 million times better...AHHHHHrageAHHHHHH!!!! "
PS3 had more exclusives. Xbox 360 had more exclusives that people actually want to play.
I couldn't stay awake long enough while playing GT5 to notice the graphics. The game may look nice, but it has zero soul. Never has a game so failed to live up to its hype.
Can't wait for MW3. The Call of Duty games (COD4 and MW2, specifically) are my favorite games of all time, so I'm counting down the days until MW3 is released. I'm anxious to see how the game has turned out after the huge shakeup at Infinity Ward.
