No offense but this is why I still to this day stick to 1 powerful GPU, less hassle, I understand why some people love multi-monitor setups but not for me, having the bezels next to each screen is distracting, breaking the image up essentially. The same goes for odd aspect ratio monitors, as in your case, they are becoming more and more popular however, you still run the risk of a game not supporting that AR. Hopefully, QB changes that for you and others in the near future.

Yeah, GOG Galaxy shows 454 MB I didn't check my total HDD space before/after so it's hard to tell if that's the compressed size or not.* that's odd -I just viewed the Gearnuke image, not only do I not have any rollback options but my patch did show as 3.2GB (I'm pretty sure the RB is optional, I'll have to go check)

They've been doing a lot of patching recently. Not that I'm complaining. The game does look better, IMHO.Sure there were some visu...

Maybe you should learn how to read pal. I get exactly what the OP is saying. Every bit of footage we've been shown has forced this new, TPP cinematic camera angle dialogue system. Regardless of what Howard said, lets see it then! That's all I'm asking for.

The closest to FPP while being engaged in any form of dialogue is when speaking with Codsworth, if you go back and watch that part again, as soon as the PC chose their response , all we see is this new TPP camer...

That's what I meant, in past games we have always had FPP dialogue, so I'm hopeful that all of this TPP cinematic camera is merely for showing it off as a new feature. If not, and we're stuck with TPP no matter what for dialogue, then I'm gonna be majorly disappointed. That's why I mentioned what Todd Howard stated at the presentation during the Codsworth exchange, we will have both FPP, TPP and if we want, we can leave any conversation at any time or shoot them in the fac...

I have some of the same concerns and I'm eagerly awaiting FO4 regardless of some of the questionable design decisions, I will obviously reserve judgement until I've had the chance to go hands-on when the game finally releases (SOON!) I have also brought this topic up a few times and I have either been down voted or pacified by "Howard already said we can talk in FPP, TPP or just walk away"

I will remind you however, in case you're unaware or that you'...

Not the most recent but the last patch IIRC. Hey it happens. Especially when dealing with complex, open world games like Witcher 3, Fallout/TES etc. Considering it was the 1st time for CDPR going open world and multi-platform, I think they've done quite well. All things considered.

We're not talking AC:Unity or Batman: AK level of unplayable by a long shot. The Witcher 3 at launch and presently is very much playable and IMHO,one of the best games/RPG's out there....

TBH, its one of my biggest concerns for Fo4. Added VA protagonist, Potentially a bit more intrusive origin than previous FO's which will restrict RPing. (going by what we have been shown/heard and some speculation)
and now a more TPP cinematic camera combined with what appears to be a very Mass Effect-esque dialogue wheel. We have been told there is still FPP dialogue but unfortunately they have yet to fully show this outside of very brief and incomplete scenarios.

Don't worry. Put it this way, (PLEASE NO!) If something like this happened, gaming (to me at least) is truly dead. I look at CDPR as one of the last bastions of passionate, genuine, and consumer/gamer friendly developers. There are others but for me, they are without a doubt one of the best devs out there and deserve all of the accolades and praise they are receiving and hopefully, will continue to receive.

Are you referring to this by chance? - https://en.wikipedia.org/wi...

Had to google it, however, the name sounded familiar. Gotta love little easter eggs like these. As far as I'm concerned, this only adds to CDPR's greatness.

Look, I cannot even imagine how hard and mind-boggling just taking a peek at the code of a game of this magnitude must be like. I get it, I really do. Just be a bit more patient. They have been listening to fan feedback and not only adding features, improvements but yes, fixing bugs. Even with the minor and some major bugs, Witcher 3 is a fantastic game. A must have!

For the record, I must be super lucky, the same thing can be said for Bethesda games, I usually never encounte...

I will check it out and if I'm able, I'll let you know! On the topic of your question - If you love great video game OST then you are not only doing yourself a disservice by not playing this incredible series but the Witcher games have some of the best soundtracks and gaming music out there!(IMO)

Yes, it's a part of the Witcher 3 OST.

I'm a big fan of Bethesda games but to criticize Witcher and then go on to mention BGS games which have been known to have some of the worst 3rd person clunky controls is hypocritical.

There are two move styles now, so many of your complaints are already fixed. The original move style wasn't perfect but tbh I didn't think it was as bad as a lot of people made it out to be. It just took a bit of time to get used to and all was well. Matter of fact I thought the locomotion of Geralt was done well.

You can? I believe you cannot go from the mainland coast all the way to the what we will call the 2nd core region, the Skellige islands. There are other islands dotted all around the map.You go through 1 loading screen to get to Skellige archipelago (A group of islands, 6 total.Plus little ones that are unnamed) then you can use the boat or swim to the other islands.

For those familiar with the Witcher books, I think this image http://i.imgur.com/bqq5vie....
Might be Korath desert a.k.a. the frying pan. It is where Ciri was teleported and dumped mid-air during the events of the novels. Here is a link for more info, However be careful of book spoilers.

* I meant to say in my last comment that I did not expect this area making it into the game. We will just have to wait and see on May 19th. We do know there are supposedly 5-6 separate locations from the main 3 core regions - Novigrad, NML and the Skellige Islands. We are aware of 2 of these, 1.) Kaer Morhen, the WItcher fortress, training grounds and Winter home and 2.)The Vizima Royal Palace. If we aren't counting White Orchard, the prologue area, then this still leaves 3-4 locations w...

If you ask me, not too far off from what that image with those creatures and Geralt looks like.

@Roccetarius - Exactly why I pre-ordered a copy. After reading that they were only going to do 1 printing and that it was limited, I had to grab one. I'm looking forward to reading the 96 pg. grimoire that comes bundled with the C.E. as well. I think it could be a nice bonus on top of the 40 pages of art. I'm curious if the art work is merely overlapping content from the C.E. art book.

Something tells me it is going to be about the precise size of the game world.

We were initially lead to believe the game world was 35 X larger than Witcher 2 and around 20% larger than Skyrim, those figures changed at GDC when some slides were revealed that 2 regions, Novigrad 8.5 x 8.5 sq. miles and Skellige 8 X 8 sq. miles (Since Novigrad & NML are considered 1 region in the GDC slide plus Skellige Islands = The 3 core regions. BTW, there are actually a few smaller re...
