ye...ive played through crysis on high...with 35fps with my rig...but if they make it look any better, then even my upgrade to a 10 series and quadcore in a year or sumin might not be enough to play this decent :) suppose it will be fine by just lowering res...
i think all software devs for an ease of use standpoint would prefer a standardisation...just think that bad ports would be a thing of teh past!..but for the console business as a whole, it would be bad news....as it may not push the hardware to the best of its ability.

Im waitin on the 10 series cumin out, and ill swap over my 8800 for it, then upgrade my dual core to quad core...that will do me fine!
amazing amount of power from this...with a price to match! But from what ive read, the new 9 series cards will have roughly double the power of 8 series (how much of that is truth I dont know tho!), so if youowere going to sppnd serious money on a PC, then Id wait the very short time till the 9 series cards come out!
very impressive...shame the 8800gtx will be superceded very soon with the 9 series tho...
they have already fixed the loading times for these im sure...
i really hate all this filing lawsuits nonsense....nice to see it comes out now after all the news about hd-dvd losing! ill be glad if it does happen, not from a ps3 standpoint, but from a technology standpoint...as it holds more...
and im really hoping they release a blueray version of tranformers at some point..with full HD sound as well...seeing it was ommitted from the hd-dvd version due to space
na..it will be interesting to see what they change and what they make it like...is it going to be viewed from above? will they try make it a first person view?
the one thing tho, it wont feel like assassins creed for me...the main point of that gaem is the game engine, and what it lets you do...all the smooth free flowing acrobatics etc etc
another one to keep an eye on to see if they accomplish a decent game on the DS with it...

but i refuse to believe that where you come from every1 is laughing cos you took it out in public!!! The PSP is an immense handheld..I have the DS and PSP, and I love both, but the PSP is superb...the number of top quality games is great as well
well, just d/l it, and the 1 platyer experience is better...replays arent running 100%, but they are a lot better...
i never did play it online before, so i dont know if its better or what, but ill sure be trying it tonight :)
i wouldnt think so...it will probably detect whether or not the card is there...just like it did for the levels in cellfactor
ff12 is actually really good for teh DS...im on chapter 2 now...
i must say, its not as hard or involving as other F games, but its perfect for a handheld game...lots of short bursts which is what gaming on teh go should be
this game is superb...its all i can really say about it...
the amount of interaction in the game...the fact you cant hide even behind large fat trees without them getting knocked down!
the graphics are absolutely fantastic as well..better than COD4's which is saying something as cod4's gfx are superb as well...
also, the nanosuit doenst feel like a gimmick. to be honest i thought that it would. but it genuinely lets you play to your own style...
im playing it on ps3 with a 1080p hdtv, and it plays fine...its only in replays that you notice the framerate problems. I havent went online yet, but ive heard its rotten till teh fix comes.

i canNOT wait on this coming...this and bioshock would be the only reasons I would buy a 360 today, and I can get them both on PC, im so happy.....
i can just leave of getting a 360 until fable 2 comes out...or perhaps ninja gaiden 2
well...i am so glad that COD4 and K&L have turned out to be crackers...the gaming community is in for a treat this whole xmas regardless of what system you own!
looking forward to it....it was teh main reason i was thinking about gettin a 360...but will be even better on PC
from what crytek has mentioned, the cryengine2 is fully supported for any number of cores...the more the better...
