Let's be honost.......they only shove a few out at launch.......it drives demand up when they do that.
Example (unrelated):
When there is a flu shot shortage everyone wants one. When they have plenty around no one gives a sh*t.
Tablets and mobile phone gaming is hurting the console industry. How a young person settles for playing on there phone instead baffles me. The controls are horrendous.
We can blame cheap/lazy parents for this. When there kid was yelling, "I want a Playstation/Xbox". The parents rolled there eyes, threw there smartphone/tablet in there kids lap to shut them up and it worked.
Now kids settle for just a phone or tablet. It's sad.
...
The biggest misconception on Ashes of Ariandel.........its no shorter than any other piece of dlc in the five game series. It might actually be longer than some.
If you want something to complain about in the series.. ....how bout how the World/Character Tendency worked in Demon's Souls??? One death would make or break your whole playthrough.
I love X1 for You Tube. No other platform does You Tube better than X1. HBO Now is great. Netflix is great. All three run better on X1 than PS4/PS4 Pro.
Forza Horizon 3 is awesome. Quantum Break was okay. I bought Rise of the Tomb Raider at launch, really good game. But those are the only games I've bought in over two years for the console.
Oh yeah, I forgot about the Sunset Overdrive debacle. I'm just baffled by this. Hear me out. Sunset Overd...
We just wana know when it's coming to PS4. That's it.
Yes they do need better developers. I'm averaging one game a year I'm buying on there console almost. That's it.
Forza Horizon 3
Rise of the Tomb Raider
Quantum Break
That's it. Maybe Sea of Thieves when it releases? But nothing else is catching my eye. Crackdown 3..................we spend five minutes bringing down a building an enemy is located in.........to only realize the enemy vacated three minutes ago.............
Square Enix is setting the bar for other developers. As in this is good news for players. When developers for years now has said, "we can't make those kind of changes now" after release ,....................Yes you can, you just don't.
Takes five plus minutes to take down a building that the enemy vacated three minutes ago.........
I just wana see how deep the mechanics can be, being given this is a Ubisoft game. The combat system looks great just don't know how the game will run if it's peer to peer. I question this as well.
It's the same linear playthroughs for both games. Explosion here, explosion there. Everyone knows they just give us single player to shut the fans up.............right?
Multiplayer is there main focus and NF1 knocked it out of the park. CoD has been the same for how many years now? Same maps just a diffrent coat of paint. Same "three path" maps they have had for years now. Offensive maps, no defence.
That's why I didn't buy CoD this...
Syndicate is worth every bit. Deepest AC game to date.
Roads are good.
I'm only on chapter 3 and the side quests just keep coming which is nice so you can level up properly before hand. Also the Hardcover guide is great for finding these side quests that are in the "creases" of the map. If it wasn't for it I would have missed them.
The game is so much better once you get the fast travel paths down pat. Basically just warping to parking spots and stuff like that to save you time. The driving was the only reason I would sit the...
Neither is open world......once you go open world racer.....its hard to go back
Why aren't games selling like they did?
Guys finally got smart and opened there horizons some. Instead of going out and buying CoD again this year......you went with Battlefield 1. Hell, I even went out and bought Final Fantasy XV and I've never played a Final Fantasy before.
If a sequel to Rise of the Tomb Raider is coming we will probably see ROTTR free like they did with Tomb Raider D.E.
Excellent marketing tactics from Microsoft. They gave us Tomb Raider D.E for free......I liked it so much I went out and pre-ordered Rise of the Tomb Raider.
I'll have to check that one out. Sounds good
PS Now is trash, X1 B.C. is useless after you play the one game you waited two years to hit the B.C. list. Once you play and beat it....the feature is useless.
I got tired of waiting for Demon's Souls to hit PS Now (even though I would hate to have to stream my games). I just went out and got a new PS3 at retail before they stop making them six plus months ago. Bought Dark Souls: Prepare To Die Edition and Red Dead Redemption Game of the Year Edition for cheap online.
It seems like I always stick with the Uncharted 4 theme where Nathan is sitting and there is fire burning.
X1 is doing fine with lower graphics than PS4/PS4 Pro...............third parties is what Nintendo needs to survive. 1st parties are not gonna keep it alive alone
