Nintendo doesn't normally participate in April Fools, do they?
That's still a Sony exclusive deal, so it's basically the same thing.
But that aside, the general question still remains, do gamers really win with console exclusives? It makes perfect sense from a publisher/console manufacturer perspective, but on a consumer level, what do we really have to gain from limiting platforms? Same thing with developers -- don't they lose when they can't publish their game on as many platforms as possible?
Again...
Pretty stoked to see the Switch . . . even if it's going to take a million years for Nintendo to meet demand. lol
I've said it before, Splatoon was one of my favorite games I saw at E3 last year. I'm pretty excited to get my hands on it, this looks like it could be a ton of fun.
This is awesome! I always love it when game devs do stuff like this.
I'm pretty excited for Splatoon and Star Fox. Star Fox has been a long time coming and Splatoon looks like it has that Nintendo charm to really make an impact.
I know! The speculation is killing me! haha
Wow, one guy did all of that? That's pretty impressive.
This game was pretty fun! Although it really does only appeal to hardcore RTS fans.
I'm telling you guys, between Pier Solar and Elysian Shadows, the Sega Dreamcast is going to make a comeback! They might also save the Ouya along the way too!
Oh yeah, the game was great. I can only imagine how much more awesome it is now that it has co-op! It's easily worth about $30 (it's $25 on Steam with a $30 "Special Edition"). Aside from the awesome gameplay, it can get pretty tough and all the game modes will keep you hooked for a while.
The main article headline was too large for the N4G submission. Hope the abbreviated version is ok!
Yeah, there are just so many options to choose from. It's going to be hard trying to narrow it all down.
Now all we need is a game from the other side with audio files of all the crazy stuff the GoP says. Then together they can form into the "political game" where you don't do anything and have zero fun playing it.
I've been looking forward to this game since last year! Super excited to see it finally have a date! (Even if it is only Early Access)
So would this qualify as a "Lame" post to be reported then? Genuine question.
I dunno, I've never heard a developer say, "Thank goodness this leak happened, we never would have been able to promote our game without it."
I've noticed that it also depends on the type of game. "Bigger" name strategy games (like Planetary Annihilation) can market it as an opportunity to learn the units and strategies before everyone else. It's much more appealing when it's put that way.
Meridian and Dungeon Dashers are awesome! Happy those are on the list! Will definitely check those others out.
Always love a good EVE story!
