That's a bunch of bull, when it was exclusive to Sony's console it was hardly considered a "darling", xbox fans did nothing but hate on the game, it wasn't until it finally came to xbox and then MS bought NT those same people started singing a different song. Weird.
That's classic considering this site did nothing but moan and complain about a free game on PS+. I didn't see anyone say, or y'know just don't download it and move on with your life.
FYI this isn't about the choice to buy it or not its about the act of attempting to profit off of it. It's shameful and MS shouldn't get a pass for doing it.

No I'm quite clear about the difference, the majority of what was shown during the Game Awards presentation could not be controlled. I'm also capable of communicating without insults, why can't you?.

Recognizing it and profiting off of it are two different things, can't say I'm surprised people are defending this.
They already have a the timeless keepsake, a console sitting in their closet that doesn't work, no additional charge required.

Let me just respond to your 21 minute old alt account. Literally said it visually looks great (that's whats called a compliment) but its not gameplay (that's whats called a factual observation). Did it destroy Digital Foundry too since they basically said the same thing and they would know far more about it then you? I'm not the one being a fanboy here or making personal attacks that behavior only seems to becoming from one side.
Highly scripted cut scenes is not gameplay for Senua's Saga, even Digital Foundry has already alluded to that fact. Visuals looks great but people need to stop with the "gameplay" narrative as very little of what was shown at the Game Awards show was actual gameplay.
Not for that price. Pass.
They don't Sunset anymore after player backlash, they do Vault stuff with the intention of it returning at some point.

I don't necessarily disagree as there is a lot of pandering in the industry but Its odd to me how the ire for stuff like this seems suspiciously selective. TLOU for example was lambasted because of Ellie's sexuality and Abby's masculine physique but there wasn't a peep out of anyone over Tell Me Why.

Blame Canada.The higher prices are do to Canadian government policies. People can down vote facts all they want but it won't change anything. Do some research, Google why its more expensive there I bet you the government will be listed as a defining reason.
