I think it's great that people are having the discussion but hope it doesn't become an overused technique that flood's the market, with every other game featuring a gay character. At the end of the day, its great that people are even able to have this discussion.
I agree, i can remember the backlash at the original price point for the PS3 but the PS3 has gone from strength to strength. Obviously there were a few hiccups cough* Data leak cough* but some great experiences as well.
I agree that the PC is a great choice if you have one, but if your limited to a console pick then Titanfall is a great reason to look at the Xbox One.
Point taken, i just feel that in my opinion the Xbox One launch fell short in many peoples opinions, but it have since done a sterling job in winning over the crow.
My point about the PS3 launch is suggesting that even though a console might not have a great reveal, it is the next few years when the battle is really won or lost!
I should also add that i haven't currently pre-ordered an Xbox One only a PS3 although intend to change that soon.
I recently worte an article in a similar vein to this.

I think to have a healthy interesting market for the gamer we need both to keep the competition alive!
What a shame, i thought Microsoft had truly turned a corner, and therefore i wrote this!

A little premature perhaps?
such a great game with many great locations, I've just been playing 'The Ballad of Gay Tony' and think the club should probably also feature in this list!
I never managed to have any success with the Dodo to be honest, never made it across the pond.
Regarding the walking whilst drunk i always ended up in the pub with the darts getting smashed. loved trying to walk to the road to get a taxi. i was to scared to drive all the time.
Picking a list of 10 is such a challenge! Gone Home, Bro Force, Talos Principle, Not a Hero the list could go on. I appreciate the freedom that indies give developers to showcase some originality in an industry that can often focus heavily on games featuring a truck load of space marines with damaged vocal chords and sore throats...hence the grizzly voices. then again i love me some FPS as much as the next guy.
