this theory sounds a little bit farfetched.
i don't think the company can afford to hold out on this game. the stakeholders; shareholders, managers, employees rely too heavily on this game churning out revenue asap.
there's more going on behind closed doors than hardware issues whether it be 360 or ps3. stop trying to point out causation so quickly without knowing anything beyond nextgen graphics idiots.
halo is popular because it's fun to many people. and thus it became a system seller. it has replay value that goes beyond any console game ever made to date.
there is a reason why it's hyped. because it's good. accept it.people pre-order it because they liked the beta. and they liked the previous games.
1.) Selling to a retailer is considered sold, by the publishers perspective.
2.)It's hard to get retailers to stock the item unless there is demand for it. (Especially for the xbox360 in Japan). So it's pretty safe to assume that those numbers are pretty high for a 360 title in Japan.
3.)Most of these 360 games are selling through online retailers (i.e. Amazon.co.jp) which are more accurate estimates of shipped:sale ratios.
did some sh!tty selective quoting. if anyone actually read the article all he has is good things to say about halo. there was no need to put 'hurt' in quotes.
Good article. I hope more people can propagate it.
this game was not made for the fat people audience
I hope KZ 2 and Halo will both deliver.
I should probably pre-order mine, this just made me worried that I won't be able to walk into any store day one to grab a copy.
well it's a great place for fanboys and trolls to gather and bicker. It's good for spinning the truth and misrepresentation.
o...and sometimes we get gaming news here.
haha you think the indoor lighting is so shiny to reflect a white glow off the blurred controller for a half minute as he waved around the controller.
Also i didn't say the xbox controller appeared throughtout the whole clip, just when they were showing off the truck racing.
but no aruguing with you guys that this will be a timed exclusive. you guys are soo defensive lol

Is this AdamShalashaska? the troll from 1up?
seriously wtf 133 comments and the story is only 430 degrees
I think they could have used a different slogan
well considering the install base of 360 is one 1/3 of that of 360. It's no wonder why they'd have more votes than 360 in that survey.
i COULD say the attach rate of games on the 360 in Japan is somewhere around 5:1 - 6:1. Which could mean people are buying more games for the 360 than ps3 in Japan.
spinning the information is a wonderful thing
it's good that ps3 is getting games and ball...but .hack?
this is about as exciting as hour of victory exclusive to 360
killzone may look better...but will it play better? will it have spaceships, atvs, warthogs, and deployables?

6 - Junk Article.....
The PunchJump article is missing a very important item: Amazon's TOP 100 List is updated HOURLY. It works best as an indicator of trends when checked throughout the day, each and every day.
For example, checking Amazon's TOP 100 Video Fames List (9:10 Central time) shows the Xbox 360 ranked @ #13 and the PS3 coming in @ #28.
For those who might be interested in Amazon's Video Game Top 100 List's tr...
I don't get this comment.
On one hand you're complaining about a 3 year warranty as if warranties don't improve consumer confidence. but then you demand reform when they're clearly putting in heatsinks, smaller chips, and extending warranties.
