People should have realized by now that the Japanese market is essentially a handheld gaming market. The PS4 will have a couple of weeks of good sales, but later on it will go down like every home game console.
Titanfall is exclusive to Xbox and PC, and according to EA, it will stay exclusive to those platforms.
As for Titanfall 2, it's still way to early to talk about it. It will probably take another 3 years to be released. Respawn Entertainment was founded in 2010, and this is their first game. It took them 3-4 years to make Titanfall.
This article is appropriate for n4g and neogaf.
@Bennibop
What about the PS3 that went from 600$ to 400$ in more or less 12 months ?
LOL. I think a Kinectless X1 is more worrying to Sony fanboys then Microsoft fanboys. Most of the people that don't want Microsoft to release a Kinectless X1 are Sony fanboys... isn't that funny!
A smart move for Microsoft would be a Kinectless X1 at $349/349€.
Project Spark looks quite interesting.
@WeAreLegion
Do you seriously think Microsoft is going to waste $1 billion advertising the X1 in Japan, just to sell 1-2 million during it's lifetime ? If so, then you must live in Sony dreamy fanboy land.
It doesn't have to do great. Even If it only sells a million or two during its lifetime in Japan, there is still a lot of money to be many in 1-2 millions consoles sold.
Very good numbers for the PS4. Congrats to Sony.
As for Killzone: Shadow Fall, the game is not that good, it didn't deserve those sales numbers... but so do many other games that get those numbers and don't deserve them. It's a pity because many many good games don't reach those sales numbers.
Congrats to Sony for those numbers. Not bad.
LOL. I would like to see them try...
It would make Souls fanboys weep like little babies.
"Killzone: Shadow Fall’s Multiplayer Wasn’t 1080p, but it Looked Outstanding Anyway"
The hypocrisy !!!
I find it unbelievable that a developer will ignore a gaming platform just because they got their feelings hurt. Can they afford to ignore a platform?... if so, then good for them.
Yes, everyone deserves to be treated with respect, but I have the feeling that indie developers whine too much... they are always complaining about something.
What about games like Below, Sunset Overdrive, Quantum Break .. aren't they exclusives to X1? I'm sure sure if the "author" searched, he could find more.
"The list shows games that are exclusives to 1 console and 1 console only"
I didn't know Dead Nation was exclusive to one console! Wasn't there a PS3 version ?
This article fails so hard, it's not even funny. Clearly made by a blind Sony fanboy.
Phil Jones on twitter says:
"did you notice whenever X1 starts having a good news week the amount of bad rumours that get started on N4G/Neogaf"
So true. At this moment N4G/Neogaf aren't very impartial, starting with the moderators and continuing with their users.
As for Realtime Raytracing. Wouldn't mind seeing full blown games using that technology. Seen some demo's and it's impressive.
@marcodias
Grow up!
Stupid article. The author should at least make a search with Google about exclusives and other info... and the rest of the article, crap.
As for Microsoft, if they don't change the Xbox One, I don't see a bright future for that machine. The longer they take, the worse it's going to get.
If Microsoft want to compete with Sony, they have to release a Kinectless X1 cheaper then the PS4, otherwise... they can forget 1st place in this "console war", it's already over. There will be no competition (Nintendo is already out) and Sony will have a flawless victory.
I honestly cannot understand why Microsoft insists having Kinect with every X1, forcing something with the console that most gamers don't want, bringing the price way up.
Unless it...
Only one I really care is Infamous.
Obviously they won't confirm a price drop, but I expect a price drop soon for the X1... or a cheaper Kinectless X1 (Microsoft really needs to drop Kinect, it's dead weight).
European sales and February's NPD sales will prove my point.
