HS is a good game, I can admit that. It's not great, but it has a fantastic cast and a great story. I loved playing with Kai more than Nariko though, and the combat in that game SUCKED in my opinion.
They flap their gums to try and convince people that they don't suck, but their work more than speaks for itself. The Enslaved demo was pathetic, and they turned Dante into a fruity, sparkle loving vampire wannabe.

Exactly what part of Dante Cullen looks amazing? And based on NT's track record when it comes to combat mechanics (i.e. button mashing and QTE's and for some reason an auto-block mechanic when you stand still in HS), it won't play amazing either.

Sony matches the companies publishing costs, so in effect the company basically published the game at no cost. The company isn't making any profit unless the game sells, so I don't see how Sony is buying off their exclusivity. It's not like MS with the $50 million DLC deal they made with Rockstar. Rockstar made actual profit off of MS for exclusive content, these publishers aren't. They are at most breaking even before the game sells anything. Plus, they come to Sony, Sony doe...

Like most Japanese devs, Crapcom's console offerings are largely a disappointment as they phone it in, lie, or piss everyone off... but they spend all of their time on the handheld market, whose largest market is Japan. I mean, if you like having fantastic sales in one region, instead of great sales across the board that's your choice I suppose.

Disgaea is crap compared to FFT. And VC, although a good game, doesn't come close to touching FFT's scale. The depth in that game is immense, the A.I. is severely punishing, the story is epic. VC's got nothing on FFT. The one thing it does have over FFT is the 3D combat. I would love to play FFT with 3D combat instead of top down.

FFTactics is my favorite FF spinoff . They also removed the JP glitch from the original. I miss that glitch, I hate having to get 1500 points for some of the skills.
