It appears to be gameplay blended with cinematics. When Senua is running toward the troll you can see the camera being panned pretty much as one would pan a camera from behind the player in game. If you look closely you can even see the cuts where the cinematic and gameplay camera switch over.

It means the game is missing stuff included at launch in prior Halo games like Forge and campaign co-op because the developers reckon they can add it later. Should the game not launch a broken mess they will likely actually be able to spend time working on adding those missing features as opposed to fixing the game.
It is still disappointing Halo Infinite has had so development time and is still launching incomplete.
I don't think either of the games broke ground but they did present both developers applying their trade to a similar genre to great effect. Returnal has the DNA House Marque's twin stick mayhem the same way Death Loop has the DNA of Arkane's Immersive Sims applied somewhat to a Rouge lite skeleton.
Returnal probably should have been on the list but I would have swapped out Psychonauts 2 not Death Loop.
Why wouldn't they be nervous? Upgrade systems and outpost clearing etc has become a standard template for cookie cutter open world games.
In trying to add freshness to Halo Infinite, 343i may have done the exact opposite.
Lets all laugh at an industry that never learns anything tee hee hee.
The fact that the PS5 version looks this nice and still has a 60fps mode is encouraging for future open world games.
Sony WWS is just different gravy when it comes to making nice visuals. Even so the visual palette for Halo Infinite is just dull by the series own standards. I recently played Halo 2 anniversary and some of the outdoor environments hold up rather well, having dense and varied foliage, cliff faces with moss, vines, overhanging vegetation and trees with twisted up bark.
The environment seen in 2018 tech demo had a much better visual palette but it appears very little of it ca...
They won't all come day 1 but some definitely will. Nixxes used to work alongside other teams to bring ports of games on day 1. If there is any team that would be able to assist development by providing day one ports it's them.
What do you expect from a game that the developers themselves describe as story driven? The story takes centre stage. Action games that are not story driven will obviously not have as much story, cut scenes or dialogue.
What Cartoon are you referring to in particular? Batman in the 90s and early 2000s had Arleen Sorkin voice Harley Quinn but she has not voiced her in a while. Although Arleen would create Harley's distinct voice I think Tara Strong has probably voiced Harley more hence is just as recognisable as Arleen.
Tara is voicing this version of Harley as she always has in the Arkham verse. Tara has also voiced Harley in several cartoons. I take it you mean she should sound like A...
I can only assume what you have written is sarcasm.
Next you are going to tell us the shadow maps cascade.
Everyone that wants to challenge Steam wants to do everything but build a platform with a better feature set. If Amazon want Vapour to succeed it needs features out of the gate and not on a roadmap.
I really doubt the Series S has hamstrung this generation. Ballooning budgets and a huge free to play market to capitalise on has already somewhat hamstrung it. Companies just have less incentive to build the types of games Sony does. Even Jim Ryan wants to expand the audience but the only way to do that without ensuring your game runs on as many platforms as possible is make a platform that is easy to access.
The switch and the portability it has is appealing for many mode...
I doubt this current iteration of Rare could do much with PD. Their one big project has been Sea of Thieves and FP combat in it is pretty bare bones.
Eidos are about to release Guardian of the Galaxy in October. This link up is probably due to the fact that some of the Initiative's lead developers are from crystal and Microsoft already is has a working relationship with the team due to Rise of The Tomb Raider.
Or perhaps the timing is a result of Sony having just recently made the beta software public?
Probably due to the difference in the technology used to build the game. The luminous tool powers FFXV whereas Unreal Engine 4 powers FF7R. When you own the tech you can do what you like with it, when one uses third party tools that becomes a lot more complicated.
