Grey Fox was the original idea, but the game would have had to be a prequel and would have been too complicated for Platinum. It would be great if Kojima could revisit that idea now. Either way, we have a lot of great upcoming Metal Gear Solid/Rising games to look forward to.

When I said Rising wasn't a Metal Gear game...I meant it wasn't the traditional Metal Gear Solid game that fans have grown used to in the last 15 years. Thanks for commenting Whitefox. You raised some very good points. I agree with more time and focus, Platinum can make a fantastic sequel to this title. I would also like to see Raidens past history explored more in future entries. But for now, I am satisfied with the new direction they have taken with Rising Revengeance.
Thanks for commenting Ultr. As far as the gameplay of Metal Gear Rising, in my opinion, it played very similar to Ninja Gaiden or Devil May Cry. Im actually a big fan of those franchises and i think Platinum did a solid job of incorporating that style with this game. I definitely liked the new cutting system that allowed you to slice through mostly any surfaces, objects and enemies. The block/parry system took a lot of getting used to and could have been implemented a little better though. Ov...

Don't misunderstand me...I completely respect your opinion. I just don't understand the reasoning behind saying it makes no sense playing assassins creed liberation or littlebigplanet since you already have those franchises on a console system. That would be like me criticizing the 3ds lineup of Mario and Zelda games because I can also play them on the Wii or WiiU. A perfect example is resident evil revelations. A fantastic 3ds game...but by your logic, why should I play it when I can...
You raise some valid concerns. I don't mean to sound obnoxious but in truth, the Vita's is a stronger quality machine, so it's easier to justify the $250 price tag for it over the 3ds. As far as the games, Vita has dozens of solid quality retail and digital games to play other than uncharted, gravity rush, tear away and sly cooper. I'm not very familiar with Steam gaming myself, but a lot of the information I came across in regards to the new PS4/Gaikai service offering the feature of playing games on the PS4 while they are still being downloaded were drawing a lot of comparisons to a similar feature on Steam. This PSEye 3.0 may also use 3d motion technology...but it's not like Sony is a stranger to 3D tech in the first place. It's still functioning as a motion tracking device with the dual shock 4 the same way the PSEye worked with the Move.

I don't know why everyone automatically compares Sonys new camera with the kinect. Sony has already released interactive cameras for the last 2 generations (eye toy on the PS2 and PSeye for PS3). The new PSeye camera for the PS4 is simply Sonys 3rd generation camera....not a kinect rip off.

This is a great sign for the vita. It shows the vita is beginning to show life in Japan. Sony has announced a ton of new games aimed at the japanese market. These sales are from before the proce drop. The price drop will continue the momentum moving forward. The WiiU will be fine. It's still a new system, give it time. Nintendo just needs to release more games for it.
