GOTY my arse:) Arkham for the win!
PS3 is a money loser for Sony. At this point in the generation every company should be turning a profit on each console sold, Sony is now taking an even bigger loss. Mix this with their failing TV sector and they are really spinning their wheels at this point.
360 and PS3 will end this generation fairly close at the end of this generation which Sony fanboys will call a win but let's be honest. Sony lost 50% of their marketshare to Microsoft and can't turn a profit ...
The only thing that I learned from the trailer is that it looks as boring as every other game since GTAIII in the series.
Reinvention? So southern California with black gangs that speak lots of ebonics, mexicans that wear plaid shirts with one button and asians who wear nice suits is a reinvention? This franchise couldn't be more stale if it tried. Saint Row for the win!
People who are fanatical about GTA remind me of the useless masses who purchases COD.
I was trying really hard to do another playthrough of ME2 last night and I just couldn't do it and yet I've torn through ME1 many times. ME3 looks like Gears of War with Mass Effect backdrop. I'm honestly going to pass which I never thought would happen with how addicting I found the first game.
As long as it isn't more walking around in the woods I'll be happy. I really loved the game but my favorite parts became walking around the town itself or the power plant.
Sony is winning because they lost 50% of their market share world wide to Microsoft this generation and an even larger margin in North America? Give me a break, I like my PS3 but I can call a spade a spade.
I wouldn't be worried either. GTA will sell well just like COD but its not based on quality of the series anymore, it's just what you are "supposed" to buy. Saints Row looks to be the most FUN sandbox game this generation outside of Red Dead Redemption.
It looks like GTA IV with some added color. I truly don't get the hype around this game, the quality of this series peaked with GTAIII. Saints Row 3 already looks far better than this retread.
Gears Effect:( I still play ME1 on a regular basis but haven't even been able to touch ME2 since my first playthrough.
My only complaint is the outdated PS3 controller, otherwise great game:)
Between those two games I'd go with Arkham. Uncharted much like Gears ended on a very high note but it's a lot of been there, done that.
LOL, perfect? I could not be any less an interested in this title after that trailer. This series is overhyped garbage just like COD.
Yawn. Are you people serious about being excited for this? Looks like garbage, same ol' same ol'. GTA peaked and died with part 3.
Very cool:) For myself Saint's Row really put the fun back into the sandbox games. Yes, it's over the top but GTA went the other direction and is too serious. I haven't enjoyed GTA since part 3.
Ok, we get it, PS3 doesn't have any other real AAA titles this generation outsdie of MG4 and GODIII but Uncharted 3 is not a perfect agme, it is actually Uncharted 2. Stop rewarding repetition people because of nice graphics.
I really, REALLY like Silent Hill 4. I was dissapointed to see it not included in the HD collection as it is my favorite game in the series after part 2.
When it had come out I wasn't really following anything online as far as game news goes. I didn't know until years later that it apparently sucked. I thought the story, atmosphere and gameplay itself were just a lot of fun and would take it over SH3 any day.
I know that there has been a lot of hype overall for this Autumn but I have to be honest, I haven't been that impressed. Maybe I've become to expect too much or perhaps this generation is getting a little long in the tooth.
I finished Gears of War 3, Uncharted 3 and Resistance 3. While I thought Resistance was just crap I did enjoy both the final installments in the Gears/Uncharted trilogies I felt very much "been there, done that". I would honestly give ...
I just think Sony and Nintendo are both going about hand-helds in an old fasion way. I see it very much way as the MP3 player. We live in a time where people don't need multiple devices to do multiple things. There is a market for Vita but it's not going to do much in the long run. I'd rather have one device that I can use to make calls, play games, listen to music, create office documents, Skype with relatives, take HD video/pictures and beyond. I got to play a demo of Dead ...
Right on, very cool. Regardless of what console you own, which crappy games you love or which quality games you hate the fact is that life is real and games are fantasy. I enjoy being able to get lost in the fantasy but never forget that there are far more important things than gaming.
