The article title should have been more along the lines of "The Callisto Protocol Is A Much Better Game On Easy Mode For My Level Of Gaming Skills". As it is now, it makes it sound like its the fault of the game that the reviewer is having a hard time getting thru it. And it seems a lot of game reviewers these days are trying to power thru games as quickly as possible just to get the review up in time. @n-skyline, yea all those games have the main storyline campaign that can be played single-player only from start to finish. There's even missions that can only be done, single player. But they do encourage multiplayer and some activities require multi play. But one of the things that makes them need an "always online" connection is due to the many activities and live events that happen within the game. games like Destiny, Division/ Anthem are single-player games as well but can only be played with an online connection.
Raise your hands if your system is not connected to the internet. You don't get game updates, u can't surf the psn store, you don't download games, etc. Also how many folks turns their net connection on to receive updates then turns it off afterward?...
the reviewer didn't mention how the game looks/runs in docked mode , which has a noticeable impact on how the game runs and looks. Im sure its just like how. XC2 ran. It was low rez in handheld mode but looked much better when played in docked mode.

"If Halo and Zelda change their formula like God Of War 2018" But The Legend of Zelda : Breath Of the Wild literally did this. BoTW turned the franchise on its head, They took a risk by making it not like the previous games that all followed. BoTW introduced so many new mechanics unheard of in a Zelda game. It was a risk that paid off critically and commercially.

Warframe may be free, but it's far from being a "better" game. It's serviceable and all of its problems/ lack of polish is looked over because it's a free game.
But what if Bioware were the ones that wanted to make this game that we have today? Just because they made rpgs in the past doesn't mean they always want to keep making them. Studios do like to try and make games in other genres. Their last game was universally hated, so i don’t blame them for doing something new and different for them.

comments like these really do not hold any weight anymore. The difference in graphics/ performance between the XBO X and PS4pro is not like the wii compared to ps3/x360. It is not a night and day difference.

Another thing people tend to forget is that Playstation is a division of Sony, which also has a movie, television, camera division, etc. They can afford to "sell at a loss" especially with revenue coming in from their other divisons to keep the company a float. Nintendo sells hardware and games, with the occasional licensing off of their properties.
It's funny how some people just completey ignore the fact that this device comes with 2 seperate rumble/ nfc/ accelerometer enabled controllers (that also can be attached).
@Kneon, I don't think the dock was designed to protect the screen from getting scratched. It was more or less to let people know that the Switch screen cannot be viewed while its attached to the dock. If the screen was not covered while docked, consumers would assume that you can view the switch screen and play on it while docked (and plugged to your tv), which is not the case.
