A surprise to nobody.
I'd love more games like Stray and Astro's Playroom tbh.
Problem is, HD2 was a success so they'll want more of that. I just hope they don't focus too much on that at the expense of a good single player game.
As long as the long term vision also includes physical media then I'll be in. I've been a fan of PlayStation from the very beginning but as soon as they go all digital then I'll be dropping out.
Oh, and more single player games please. Don't want more live service crap.
Coming to a game rental service near you!
Bad precedent. A live service game that's been successful only means more live service games. You reap what you sow
Pluck it then...
No 🫣
It never was. I've never been about subscription services for games. I prefer to buy them, not rent them.
I would hope so. With film at least there are smaller boutique labels that release physical special editions. I don't think they realise how important they are in the industry right now.
Don't be scared, you'll be fine.
The Thunderdome reference wasn't lost on me 😎
The future of everything is subscription. Or at least that's the plan they have for us. Own nothing, rent everything.
I'm genuinely worried about Obscure Observer. Why hasn't he been commenting on this? He might have done himself a mischief, or perhaps he feels betrayed by his lord Phil and is going to do him a mischief?
Truth
If I worked for any studio owned by Microsoft I'd be looking for work. I would be expecting the hammer to drop at any time.
It's your interpretation. That doesn't make it 'official'.
Got to be the most expensive game never made by this point
Probably not. The Gamepass model pretty much ensures no game will sell enough to be profitable.
More Marvel. Yawn.
Shove your season pass up your arse. And you can shove the game itself up your arse while you're at it as well. Basically a season pass is just a way to justify them giving you an incomplete game at launch, and having you pay for the rest of it. No thanks.
