Agreed. For me at least, games are escapism. I don't want them mimicking real life. Graphics don't have to be photorealistic to be impressive. As with you, I'm more about the story, and I would prefer innovation in other ways. The PS5 did it with the DualSense. This it more important to me than just shinier graphics.

Yeah same here. The way they handled the Vita has left me burned. I don't trust them to give a handheld the support it needs and so I'll not buy it at launch. I need to see their commitment first.
So many times I've been tempted to hack my Vita but I just can't bring myself to do it. I kind of want it to be as originalas possible. Also, for emulation I have my steam deck.

Nah. I don't trust Sony. Don't get me wrong I love my PSP and the Vita is my favourite handheld of all time and I still own my launch day PSP and Vita, but after the way Sony left the Vita to die, I won't be getting any handheld they produce at launch again. First I want to see that they are dedicated to supporting it properly before I dive in.
Not sure why the disagrees because clearly it's visually a fantastic looking game. I'd be interested to know what better looking games from 2024 the people who disagreed think look better.
Exactly. It's fine to rent it on Xbox so why should they expect people to actually buy it on PlayStation? They don't deserve your money.

Come on, we all know it's usually not a good sign when the review embargo lifts on launch day. Doesn't mean to say the game is going to be bad or anything, but it does often point to a lack of confidence.

Season pass for £40 after the game will cost around £60 (I'm UK but assumingthe price will be roughly parity across pound and dollar). So that's around £100 for one game. One game!! Absolutely not! I'll save myself even more and not buy the game at all.
Agree. I'm not supporting these practices so as much as I enjoy AC games, I'll be passing on this one.
It won't flop, it just won't be the megaton game Xbox needs. Not sure it was ever hyped that way either tbh.
