The video will demonstrate to the court that he is contemptuous and remorseless. It may not affect the outcome of the trial, but you can bet it will affect the degree of judgment against him should he lose, assuming the judge ever sees it.
Atta boy George. Make a rap video with an embedded confession right in the middle of your trial.
No one is expecting Sony to beat the hackers. This is merely a small battle in a larger war. Beating George Hotz will be sufficient enough to set a legal precedent.
Not really. I am a planner by nature so all these early reveals and leaks do me a great service.
You really don't see it? It is painfully obvious to me.
1) Drop the roster down to ~40 characters instead of 56
2) Release the rest of the characters as paid DLC
3) Profit
I have not cared about local multiplayer since the inception of online multiplayer. I really don't want to share my screen with anyone.
Granted system-link gaming does not require split screen, but I don't see the point of carrying around equipment just to play in the same room. It is much easier all around to just play together with your friends online.

Life is not fair. You will do well to remember that. It is worth pointing out that Capcom is actually responsible for the DRM with Final Fight and Bionic Commando Rearmed 2, not Sony. It is also worth pointing out that having the activation key locked to an account is pretty standard for MMOs.
Since we are on the subject of DRM, it is also worth pointing out that DRM is a direct response to piracy. People may think that piracy has no effect on the industry, but the consumers...
Wiping his drive would just land him in jail for evidence tampering, or at minimum contempt of court.
I can't believe they made an RTS without naval units. That was fine back in the original Warcraft, but it is 2011 now. Naval units should be a staple.
That sounds like a trap to me. She could indeed choose not to complain on Valentine's Day as your present, but it could come back to bite you at a later time if you actually spend all day playing a game instead of giving her attention.
73 still qualifies as a low-70's score, not mid-70's.

Well I suppose I can't argue with that logic.
I own inFamous and [PROTOTYPE]. They are both completely different experiences. I enjoyed both for different reasons. I don't understand why people feel compelled to compare the two.
It may be Activision Blizzard to everyone else, but in my eyes Blizzard is just Blizzard. I am not ever going to credit Activision with any of Blizzard's masterpieces.
You guys should seriously go find a sense of humor. The video was worth a good chuckle. I would rather watch a funny video than have to sift through the endless flame bait articles, crappy opinion pieces, and useless top 10 lists that we get on this site every day.
That is actually cheaper than the 6 month and 12 month plans. I am definitely taking advantage of this deal Thursday.
I side with Sony because I recognize their right to modify their operating system. You paid for the hardware. You can do what you want with your hardware. They can do what they want with their software. The software is not yours. They didn't disable any hardware related feature on your PS3.
Also, I really don't give two sh*ts about Other OS. I had it since launch and never even considered using it. I have a PC for that.

Customizable controls should be a standard in video games by now.
Patcher said something accurate?

You got a few disagrees, but the math is pretty simple. There were nine million units sold in the first year. Factoring in a conservative 33% failure rate that makes three million failed or failing units out there that are out of warranty.
Probably because there is no such thing as unhackable. It could also have something to do with the fact that companies generally try to hire trustworthy people, and George Hotz is not one of them.
