Please "kindly" correct me if I'm wrong. But does attach rate really have anything to do with user base. If you have a user base of 25 and I have a user base of 100, and we have both sold a specific game 10 times doesn't that put your attach rate higher than mine. So shouldn't a console with a lower user base have higher attach rate. Or wouldn't that said attach rate climb faster with less users.

The timing of these news stories are hardly coincidental.
Currently the 360 Elite is out of stock at Amazon.com. The price you see are prices made by independent retailers. They folks are hoping to find some desperate person looking for one so they can gouge to for their money. Either go to bestbuy, circuit city, or somewhere that has them in stock and you'll find the correct price 449.00.

The guy said a lot of things, but the only thing a lot of PS3 fans drew from it was the 5 million console gap, which would take 50 straight weeks of the PS3 outselling the 360 by 100,000 units for them to break even. Even though, sony recently said they were at 12 mil and MS said they were at 19 mil. But, they decided to go with the 5 mil because it fits better with their agenda.
