It does look better and more cleaned up, it's not a remake at least what they said. They said remaster so this article is wrong from the info I've heard.
Until Dawn is getting remastered to coincide with the live-action movie.

I too bought Part 2 Remastered. Happy with the lost levels! They were short but fun bits and I loved the commentary, getting to understand parts of the game and the development process. wished however that there would be more..

If it tells a story that gets better or becomes more grounded in realism because of this I'm for it.
I want the developers to have free will to tell their story in the way they want to. If they want to give you a sense or feeling of some kind they should have the tools for it without compromising their vision.

It was an ok game BUT, the big hairy but here. What I did like that it was a different story than Dead Space and in that sense it was pretty good!
I've played all Dead Space games remake included and all RE games as well. The Remakes are insanely well made and I loved the new Dead Space but it was really well made but I also remembered so much of it so in that sense Callisto was "new" to me!
Dude, Blood & wine and Heart of Stone is both payed DLC expansion... They give a lot of small DLC for free and have done it before, this is not bad practice.
