It is now only five days until E3. With almost every publisher announcing something big as well as the next gen consoles being shown this might be the best e3 yet.
My hopes for the conference is that Sony will show a LOT of games.
Not just more gameplay off the titles they have already announced but new games that haven't been announced like Quantic Dream's, GG's and ND's new IP.
Saying that though I do hope that they show off gameplay for Infamous:Second Son and of course trailers for Beyond Two Souls and The Last of Us. I also hope that they announce the multiplayer for KZ Shadow fall. Maybe even having it playable in booths so that people can get a feel for the controller and for the game.
I also hope that they clarify on the PSN and its features and which of the features is only available on PS plus and which are on the free version.
I also hope on the indie side of things that they announce Minecraft for not only the PS3 and PS4 but for the vita as well. This is pretty much confirmed for at least one of these platforms since sony gave Notch a golden PS1 as an invite to E3. It would also be pretty good if they have addons like tekkit and stuff on it.
I'm also hoping for a dayz announcement as well. David Hall (creator of DayZ did say as long as they didn't screw the pc version up that there will be a console version. So that would be pretty cool as well.
As for the third party Sony are probably going to announce some timed exclusive DLC for AC4 or Watch Dogs. They might also show gameplay for those games in their presentation as well. I hope that they also announce BF4 for the PS4 (with hopefully 64 players). Maybe they might have a playable multiplayer in a booth. That would also be pretty cool. Although it is wishful thinking.
Anything else that I had been looking forward too like the unveiling of the console has already been confirmed. Those are my hopes for the Sony E3 conference. Thanks for reading:)
WTMG's Leo Faria: "I have no idea what happened for MindsEye to come out at such a pitiful state, but even if it worked as intended, it would have been, at best, a truly mediocre cover shooter with a subpar “what if big techs were bad” story (spoiler alert: they also are in real life). But when you add in the horrendous framerate, poor optimization, braindead enemy AI, and countless bugs, then there’s no way to recommend this trainwreck, even to those looking for an ironic playthrough of a crappy game. Don’t bother with it, there’s plenty of fish in the sea right now. You don’t need to risk your stomach eating one that has eaten too many microplastics over the years."
Console Creatures writes, "Mario Kart World moves the series in a bold new direction with open world and battle royale elements but there's a distinct feeling of loneliness in the free roam."
Game Pressure met with the one and only Josh Sawyer at Digital Dragons and chatted about RPGs, Pentiment, Pillars of Eternity, the state of the industry, and the genre.
What I want to see most from Sony is Vita support. I understand that Sony will have three platforms (Vita, PS3, PS4) to cover, and one of those platforms is unreleased, but now would be the time to really amp it up for the Vita.
I wanna see what next-gen plays like more than anything. And here hoping some info on Versus lol
I want to see the ps4 :D
