Anonymous - Let's Just Ignore Them

I am sick of these guys - so why don't we just ignore them?

If they have a problem with Sony then why don't they take it up with Sony, instead of the millions of innocent PSN users that have been dragged into this feud? There are millions of kids right now who can't play games and they are off school for Easter. They are simply a bunch of criminals if they are responsible for the PSN outage and I have had enough. I am sick of the propaganda and BS that we are having to listen to everyday on this site.

To all of you that are posting stories, rumours, videos, press releases please just stop.

Anonymous are getting all the attention they want whoever they are and whatever they want; if we just ignore them they might just go away!

This is exactly right. If people would stop putting focus on them just to get hits on their respective websites, then they would have been forgotten long ago. I have not clicked on a single article regarding the whole Anonymous issue, as well as the PSN being down. I grow so tired of seeing the same shit on the top of the page every day. It was bad last month also when Crysis 2 release, there were a ridiculous amount of comparison articles, or complaint articles, reviews etc.. So annoying.

If people would stop approving them they wouldn't even be here. I don't understand why these people just don't get a life. I mean what do you gain from making everyone miserable by posting these things? Does Anon give you a commission on every article you post or do you get a seat of power when they take over the world or is being a trouble making jack@$$ that important to you. Freedom of speech is great - but these guys are just wasting all of our time and clogging up our newsfeeds.

Each article gets a 100 comments with people moaning about Anonymous - I am just suggesting we stop doing that and feeding their machine!

I haven't clicked on or approved any of these stories or articles and I think we all should do just that, then they wouldn't get the headlines.

It's really a shame to see what's happened to our society. Actually, it's pathetic. Anonymous is fighting to defend your civil rights and liberties, and you call them terrorists and criminals?! It's a shame, this country had so much potential, it's too bad that the government and corporations have taken a massive dump on the U.S.

That's alright though, keep consuming and keep swallowing everything that's shoved down your throat. Unfortunately, you won't heed my words until that boot actually comes crashing through your door.

Your an idiot. Anon says some pretty words about freedom and helping us while using force, extortion, chaos and lies to get what they want and you want us to cheer them on as they take pot shots at Sony while I take the fallout in the process. They attack Sony and claim they should be punished while companies like Microsoft screw their customers every which way and they don't think to attack them.

Sony fought to keep their PSN secure while everyone stabbed them in the back claiming that nothing will happen while people pirated games, searched for exploits and made programs to cheat and do things like steal like the latest exploit to steal from PSN. If Sony is 'evil' then Anon better start shutting down every big corporation in the world because if trying to protect your investments and profits is 'evil' then they all are. So keep believing that thieves and exploiters like Anon and Geohot are trying to help and not doing it for their own ego. I am sure they CAN'T be lying.

i agree with you, about that they should go after every company that tries to lock down hardware to one single software vendor. I don't view profits as 'evil', i view abuse of an anti-piracy law to stop things that are not piracy as 'evil'.

I'm kinda in the middle, I say allow people to freely use hardware however they want, and teach others to do the same, however only go after those who steal content that earns a direct profit and go after those who ruin an online experience.

basically it something is available freely(as in free beer) it is also considered free (as in freedom). This than makes any and all abuse of the dcma null and void.
