Screenshot of Cyberpunk 2077 running on the PS4

Multiple screen caps attached.

I'm sure it'll look fine, my concern is just FPS.

After reading about PS5's stellar work on upgrading PS4 titles to 60FPS, I'm definitely going to be buying one when they're back in stock.

Duke191615d ago (Edited 1615d ago )

Yeah, from the pictures it looks like the PS4 version is stuck at 1 FPS

RaidenBlack1615d ago

The pics are at 1080p but N4G is compressing the images very aggressively.
The game runs pretty smoothly as seen in the video.

SmokinAces1615d ago

You make jokes but be careful you might have just given gamespot or pushsquare an idea for a new article.

JEECE1615d ago

Unfortunately that only happens if there is an unlocked framerate mode. If the game is capped at 30, all ps5 will do is make it a more stable 30.

tombfan1615d ago

Wrong, developers are making a PS5 upgrade on day one

JEECE1615d ago

@tombfan

So you mean they are adding a mode that allows for a higher framerate? Because it can't convert a game to 60 unless that mode is added.

mikraphne1614d ago

@tombfan

Wrong. Game will have a few extra bells and whistles for the PS5, but the actual PS5 upgrade won't be available until next year, which likely includes ray tracing and higher resolution textures.

phoenixwing1615d ago

Where's the link to the source?

Video these are taken from is in the article (at least for now)

phoenixwing1615d ago

oh i didn't know that cd project red was taking down the videos as they popped up.

Fonsecap1615d ago

Games looks allright on PS4, firts playthrough on PS4 than the second on PS5, why not?..

Eidolon1615d ago (Edited 1615d ago )

I freaking WISH i could get a PS5 this year 😡 . And I want to play this game, but I can wait for the PS5 upgrade to experience the best version. Lot of bugs will be fixed, and it will be cheaper. I mean I keep telling myself that, until I see some awesome gameplay. I have a PS4 Pro at least, but still a huge backlog that seems never-ending.

MadLad1615d ago

Look at it this way, if anything like Witcher 2 and 3 post-release, the long you wait, the more of the free microadditions will be rolled out, and there may even already be expansions.

They already promised the same sort of roadmap here.
You wait, you get more in one go, instead of being drip fed new content.
Positives and negatives had on either side.

rlow11615d ago

yeah, time to upgrade to next gen

TheKingKratos1615d ago

Why ? Especially to the people who own ps4 pro and will be playing in 4k with amazing graphics ?
Why would they upgrade yet ?

EazyC1615d ago (Edited 1615d ago )

Frame rate, 30 to 60 is huge.

PC guys spend a fortune for even slight FPS bumps

MadLad1615d ago

@EazyC
Your comment doesn't even make sense, unless you're one of those people who honestly think people are switching out their cards and cpus every time a small bump in tech is released lol.

Review - Blue Prince (PS5) | WayTooManyGames

WTMG's Kyle Nicol: "Even if you aren’t a fan of roguelikes, Blue Prince feels much more like an elaborate puzzle box. There’s a satisfying feeling in making it further than you did before, finding clues to a puzzle, then stumbling onto another piece of that puzzle a few runs later. Blue Prince is certainly one of the most interesting games of this year. It takes a fairly novel concept in a roguelike puzzle game, adding elements of deckbuilding and base crafting. It all comes together for a gameplay experience unlike anything else out there today."

Huge difference i must admit, but not sure i would notice without 2 screens next to each other.

Not getting this game still, i want a new game and im tired of remasters

Muigi2h ago(Edited 2h ago)

It’s $10 and there are plenty of games out there for you.

Flewid6381h ago

Then its not a huge difference?

Remastered.....

Flewid6381h ago

You're forgetting 30fps to 60fps

Tedakin2h ago

Sony is now remastering games with 71s on metacritic.

Bathyj2h ago

Like that's a judge of anything
This game got scored before it was released.

andy852h ago

Days gone is 85+. It got heavily marked down at launch for bugs where as others get a free pass for that. It's a fantastic game.

andy852h ago

I spoiled myself by modding this game on my PC. Genuinely one of the best looking games I've ever seen. Whilst this remaster looks nice it just doesn't compare to that sadly. It shows the effort that these remasters could put in if they wanted

REDGUM2h ago

I so hope this game or DLC for those of us who own the original sells well.
Ive said it before, its an underrated game for sure & was unfairly judged upon release.
Please try this game if you haven't already.

For those who say 'i won't purchase digital only' you can pickup a hard copy for 5 bucks here in Australia, then add the DLC and you have a superb game for $20 or so.

Give it a shot, tell me I'm wrong After completing the game.

Game on gamers.
