Since the day of the announcement I am waiting for April 19 - release date of MK - . The stage demos demonstrated for Gamespot @ E3, and other gameplay videos looked amazing. As a huge MK fan - MK II was my first game on gameboy 15 years ago - I was watching the MK trailers with huge pleasure and astonishment. The game looked great but I couldn`t get my hands on it... Until last friday !
MK Demo was released exclusively on PSN for PS Plus users last friday and I did not hesitate to wait even a single minute to download it asap and start playing it.
The demo includes 4 characters ; Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Johnny Cage and Mileena and two stages if I`m not mistaken. Guys, the game is awesome ! The animations, combo system, x-rays , fatalities... It`s the MK game that we needed in HD gaming era - not a DC universe vs MK bullshit - and I think it will be the `one` on april 19.
What made me happy was the easy execution of combos and how they flow. You can string many moves into each other and create crazy combos. Also, the way how you make special attacks is still the same for all characters which is great again. Scorpion`s spear with back back square, sub-zero`s ice bolt with down forward X and etc. Other than the easy execution of combos, x-rays not only look incredible, they are determinant in the outcome of the fights. They are more or less like ultra
Not only you can save the full bar and execute a X-ray move, you can also make stronger versions of special attacks with 1/3 of X-ray bar is full. It`s a tactical decision to make for every player and it`s very useful indeed.
FYI: I played the MK demo mostly on versus mode.
There is not much to say. The game looks and feels superb. I loved the new MK, although it was a demo it gave me a pretty good idea for the final product.
Before I stop writing in this posting, check the KOMBAT KONTINUES trailer that pops up when you finish the arcade mode - beating 4 characters - in demo.
Yes, it is once again tail time, thanks to Limited Run Games.
Tormeted Souls II has its apparent flaws, but it also happens to be a great horror game and throwback title to the classic survival horror days.
The Outerhaven writes: One of our Nintendo Switch 2 dock died less than a week after launch—and neither Nintendo nor GameStop offered real help. Here's why early adopters should be worried.
How much is a dock for that damn thing if they want $180 to “repair” that one? No way in hell that dock is that expensive.
Nintendo will Nintendo I guess.
As a fighting game nutjob, I went in to this demo excited but kind of skeptical because of all the shitty 3D MK games.
However after playing for 5 minutes it was clear that Netherealm studios was on to something amazing. Then the Kombat Kontinues trailer plays an I was insta-sold. This is a day one purchase.
