Welcome to the blog. The biggest gaming experience of the year is almost here, E3! All the eyes of the gaming world point towards the Los Angeles conference expo, looking forward to the next big announcements from the major players in the gaming industry. Press briefings, gaming booths and conferences galore defining the next gaming year ahead.
One of the main conferences the gaming world is looking forward to is from Sony. Major rumours floating around about game releases and a new improved 8th gen console (coded the "neo"). In this blog I point out my predictions of the Sony E3 Conference, whether you agree with them or not, or would add or change anything, please feel free to comment in the comment section below.
- Starting with PSVR, a big trailer and detailing games for it. Announcing more preorders available at the current price tag.
- Then a GT Sport gameplay trailer, hopefully showing what the game would be closer to looking like. Polyphony did state the GT Sport event in London a few weeks ago was at 50% development.
- Capcom comes on stage, A Monster Hunter PS4 game, announcing that Nintendo's exclusivity of the IP has ended. Also pointing out can be remote played with psvita (psvita having its own set controls), which would be great news for Vita owners as Monster Hunter was one of the big hitters in the PSP's lifecycle.
- More on Shenmue from the developers, confrming the funding of the kickstarter has been reached and alpha/beta gameplay.
- A Horizon Zero Dawn live gameplay from Guerilla devs. Confirmed release date.
- Then a Playstation All Stars 2 announcement, a trailer but having one very quick scene showing crash bandicoot spinning in the background. The presenter for that segment says something along the lines of "did you see it?", repeats that particular scene, crowd goes nuts and then presenter announces a Crash Bandicoot game and developers (assuming Sanzaru (the guys who did Sly Cooper 4) with supervision from Mark Cerny). Sweetening the deal further, announcement that if you preorder the next Crash game you also get a HD Remaster of the PS1 Crash Bandicoot trilogy! Crowd goes even more nuts, some faint in excitement.
- Then Marvel come on (probably Kevin Feige) announcing the infamous devs Sucker Punch will be developing the new Spiderman game. Crowd goes nuts.
- The Last Guardian gameplay and release date
- A PS4 SLIM (or they might fast forward the Neo depending on Microsoft's conference) predicting a £350/$400 price.
- Finally Sony Santa Monica come on and release a trailer for the new God of War game, likely in Norse mythology. Crowd goes nuts.
Here are my predictions and thanks for reading this blog post.
A vital but unexciting upgrade to an already great console.
Legendary gaming auteur Hideo Kojima heaped praise on Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, calling it “ideal” for one significant reason.
WTMG's Aaron Price: "All in all, there’s a lot that Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time does very well. It managed to create a perfect mixture between a JRPG and a slice-of-life simulator that can engage anyone, from the most seasoned veteran to the most casual of newcomers. Sure, some of its areas can occasionally look a blind, but then again – and I might be cursed for it – even more refined and legendary titles in the Final Fantasy titles are guilty of such issues. The Lives system is interesting, and offer more than enough variety, nearly brinking on MMO territory. Overall, a very fun experience it would be easy to get lost in, whether it’s for minutes, hours, or days."
i think capcom will most likely show something from resident evil and street fight 5 rather than new monster hunter..i wish if they show new devil may cry tho...highly unlikely :(
