It's not like other games we have played before, this one somehow seems really different.
You know, I have to tell you something, I can usually tell when a game is going to be good right from the second I see the trailer, the last game I was over the moon like this for was, the last of us.
I just knew it was going to be something special. And I made that call before all the reviews and before anyone was even playing it. Well guess what? I’m getting that same feeling again after seeing No Man’s Sky. It looks like it’s going to be an amazing game. I’m going to call it here first.
This one is going to be huge. Something about it just seems to be really interesting, something that has just not been done before, not like this, not in this way.
Sony said, “No Man’s Sky has been treated as if it was from one of our internal studios. We have been working very closely with the developers and bringing it into our release program as if we had made it. We are not going to treat it any differently and we are going to put the full weight of PlayStation behind it. If it all comes together as well as expected, it will be treated like a first-party release; it is not a self-published small indie title on the platform.”
Clearly Sony sees something special here, and they have decided to really push the title. Give it all the support it needs to really be successful. The funny thing about that is it’s not a first party title. That all by itself says a lot about how important Sony believes the game will be.I personally can’t wait to check out this title, I think it’s going to be something gamers have not really played before.
This is a game that’s all about exploration, and every now and then you get a title that takes some really big chances and tries to do something different. This game is completely different. The world looks amazing and the fact that it’s being designed on the fly, is really crazy. I’m not sure how they are going to do the find your friend aspect but I hope they are able to work that out, because exploring with a friend could be really big in a title like this. Something that makes it even more fun.
This game has been show a couple of times, but we are finally getting close to the release date of this title. One place to find out info on the game is their facebook page - https://www.facebook.com/No... or the Website - http://no-mans-sky.com
I have played some really cool games that I never thought would be as good as they turned out to be and this game seems like it’s going to be one of them. I have not played this, but it sure does look like it’s going to be a lot of fun, checking out new worlds and enjoying the landscape, finding new kind of animals and thing throughout the world. I will say this, it does indeed have my imagination really intrigued.
Between this and tomorrow's children, I think were starting to see some really amazing games. Games that are not necessarily the big blockbuster titles that most of the time seem to be the stars of the console, your Killzone, or uncharted or call of duty or battlefield. This is something new and different. Can these games be just as big, I think were about to find out. But if you ask me, not that you did, I think this game can be just as big as a Killzone.
Another thing about this game, is they made their own game engine, not something that's really new for a game company, but really interesting when it's a game engine that makes the world up on the fly. In-fact this game is not going to be one of those games were you say ok been there seen that, this world is huge. Not GTA V huge, much, much bigger then that world. It really is going to be something un-real.
But let me ask you, are you excited for this type of game, are you looking forward to playing this?
This is not your normal studio, and this is not your ordinary game.
This procedurally generated world is reaching for infinite re-playability.
We were expecting problems with mod support, but there are a lot of other issues.
Not accidental, they want modders to stop modding their older games to force them to mod Shitfield.
As of right now, there are no monopolies in the games industry, and for the sake of the medium as a whole, they never should either.
And yet the biggest tech companies in America are essentially that. They buy up all the small comps only to kill them off and steal what they have, and if they can't buy em they bleed them to death.
A voice actor from The Coalition's third-person shooter series, Gears of War, has hinted at a new game announcement coming in June.
This game is going to be so incredibly immersive. And it is exactly what I want. If the game has more than what is already advertised then I will be pleasantly surprised. But, this game just looks fantastic from my perspective.
Open Galaxy... sounds perfect. Exploring and discovering new life is exactly what I want for the human race, I can follow my fantasy of traveling through the cosmos and learning about it all.
It's actually scary how accurate this is to my dream game that i've been wanting for 17yrs. Ever since i played Zelda on NES and bought a sci-fi artbook from a thrift store these concepts collided and went wild in my head but i would have never guessed someone would have the guts to try it. It's one of the main reasons i took a 4yr bachelors course in game design cause i figured if no one else is gonna make it i will.
Needless to say it's easily my most anticipated game of all time
I really like the look of No Man's Sky and the soundtrack is the icing... but I feel it might suffer from not having much to do in it - at least judging by the gameplay they have shown. The premise is kind of like that game Proteus that was free with PS+.
It's unlikely that a game based so heavily on exploration can provide enough for me to keep playing - it needs some sort of compelling story or reason on top of that to add some meaning to the exploration.
I don't think it will get the universal praise TLoU got and will most likely be a love it or hate it experience.
This and Deus Ex Mankind Divided are my most anticipated games. Imagine this in VR? Fear not, Hello Games is treating this as their baby, as a revolutionary game (which it is) and they will not release it until it's right.
No Man's Sky and Rapture will usher in a new era of exploratory experiences that will innovate the industry and change the way we think of games. With VR on it's way experiences like these will become far more common. I can't wait.
