E3 2016: Bethesda Softworks Conference Discussion Blog

Bethesda continues with another press conference this year after the well-received Fallout 4 conference from last year. What will we see this year? Dishonored 2 is set for later this year. Possible confirmation of The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim Remaster for XBO and PS4. Many are hoping for a Prey 2 announcement to finally happen as well. Share your thoughts below.

I think we will see prey 2 and , no one has been really talking about this, another wolfenstein game.....

I think another wolfenstein game because they put DLC out for it and it was successful and critically liked.

I'd say one more year for a good Wolfenstein game. Give it time to breath and the devs time to make a game worthy to succeed the previous one.

I think Wolfenstein will be announced this year, and released next spring. That would make three years between releases, not counting 'the Old Blood', which will have been two years ago (from next Spring.)

I imagine they'd use the same engine and everything, so it's a perfectly realistic release period.

Yes! A new Prey game. They apparently totally rebooted it. The old Prey 2 is dead it seems. Oh well, I'm interested to see what they did with the new Prey.

Fallout 4 and Doom also announced for VR (the Vive). That's awesome.

I don't know what you got the disagrees for. I'm really hoping they announce the return of Prey 2 (as is rumored). That game looked great and I was disappointed when it was cancelled.

Also super excited for Dishonored 2. I'm a big fan of the first game (love stealth action games in general) and I'm liking everything I've heard about the sequel. It will be nice to see some gameplay.

Edit: The Dishonored 2 stuff blew me away. It looks fantastic, both from a gameplay perspective and in terms of the visuals.

Skyrim Remastered and Dishonored 2 is pretty much the only thing that will have my interest here unless they announce a new IP.

Honestly, the PC version already looks better with mods, and has mod support. Unless they do anything new there's hardly any reason to release the new version on PC.

I have it on PC but will definitely get it on my PS4 because this is where I prefer to play my games.

My hopes are that we get The Evil within 2 teaser, prey 2 trailer with some gameplay In it and Dishonored 2 gameplay trailer that's all too make me happy from just Bethesda.

Oh Gee, Bethesda is bringing Fallout Shelter to PC. How nice of them. Too bad the game loses all appeal after about an hour of play.

And the remaster of Skyrim is literally just the PC version modded. Why do people support this company again?

Dunno about anyone else, but I wouldn't trade in my copy of Skyrim on PC for it.
I've still got so many mods on there, and if I wanted to, there are plenty of free community mods for it that do the job this HD "Remaster" is doing.

They'd better overhaul the skills system or something, or it's just going to end up being underwhelming.

Although, I get the feeling it'll sell off of its name alone...being Skyrim, and all...

Disappointed about prey. They turned it into a generic horror game. I wanted that badass space bounty hunter with open world, RPG, sandbox, npcs, and narrative-based based gameplay.
This new prey sounds and looks a lot less ambitious than the 2011 version.

No the evil within 2 and visceral games is stuck in star wars instead of doing a new dead space or an action like dante's inferno (i'm still waiting for dante's purgatory); i don't care about quake, dishonored 2 and the DLCs from the games already out, but prey seems cool. vote 4/10

Maybe you better read up on how games are made and the cost as Visceral being owned by EA would have no say in making another Dead Space, an IP owned by EA that actually didn't sell that well.

Prey I think was my standout for their conference. Overall it was a B- if I had to put a grade on it. Nothing really was a surprise outside of Prey being a total reboot.
