Is move really worth it? To me, no. But wait! Let me explain! Don't pull out your pitchforks just yet! And please keep in mind this is only one mans opinion.
Well then, as we all know Playstation move launches soon, it is a new motion controller to play certain games with. What games you ask? Well games like Eyepet, or maybe Brunswick Pro Bowling. Games are the key reason why I am not purchasing Playstation move. The games at the moment are very weak, and are simple shovelware. You may argue that I can use move to play the upcoming Killzone 3, or maybe Resident Evil 5. Sure I could, but why spend $60 to do that when I can play it right now with a controller? $60 to experience motion in games that offer support is not worth it in my opinion! Maybe down the road, the move will get a ton of fun exclusive games (which is expected) but for now, the move is not worth the money it costs.
Please feel free to express your opinions.
Burly Bird Media: ARC Raiders has no business being this good. A reasonably objective eye can see it’s not a particularly original conceit within the extraction shooter space, and the scale of its ambition is such that one might expect servers to be wonky or combat to be unbalanced. Yet despite these assumptions, what remains is a title that is fiercely confident in its delivery, and a developer that is leveraging its considerable talent pool (following their barnstorming work on The Finals) to make a game that feels cohesive and ready to drop.
Pearl Abyss has set November 2 as the potential global launch date for Crimson Desert, according to a reliable Korean website.
WTMG's Leo Faria: "I have no idea what happened for MindsEye to come out at such a pitiful state, but even if it worked as intended, it would have been, at best, a truly mediocre cover shooter with a subpar “what if big techs were bad” story (spoiler alert: they also are in real life). But when you add in the horrendous framerate, poor optimization, braindead enemy AI, and countless bugs, then there’s no way to recommend this trainwreck, even to those looking for an ironic playthrough of a crappy game. Don’t bother with it, there’s plenty of fish in the sea right now. You don’t need to risk your stomach eating one that has eaten too many microplastics over the years."
I totally agree.
All depends on what games you want....I am getting it for RUSE because it seamed like a great game from the demo and it should be easier using a move controller
I agree, for now. Later on I think it will become worth it though.
I have to see more games for both Move and Kinect before I make any judgements. Right now neither looks impressive. The fact that iamnsuperman is getting Move for an RTS game made by Ubisoft kinda proves my point.
plenty of good games for it RUSE and Sports champions are good for starting, don;t forget patches for RE5, Eyepet and Heavy rain are coming, that will keep me happy until socom4 or time crisis, in the meanwhile I will try out the demo's I am interested in Tumble as it looks like a 3D Jenga to me.
Fact is people won't be able to resist by 2011, lots of move games coming and most of them will be good. Sorcery will be a massive boost for ps move!!
