I disagree. 2025 hasn't had a good competitive multiplayer FPS or any game in the immersive sim genre. Been a boring year so far for me with nothing on the horizon until 2026.

I recall having this large load riding around on my bike when I got attacked by that mud monster. Of course I dropped the load. After killing the monster I struggled to balance the load again and just gave up in frustration. 😂

Man, I've started playing it and my jaw was agape. I was shocked at how nice it looks. I never saw any of the recent trailers though, so I hadn't really seen anything since the first reveal trailer years ago.

I loved the first game so I really don’t care what’s others have to say but it’s nice to see.

I'm glad that the general consensus points to this being another great game from Kojima. My dilemma now is determining how long to hold off before buying this game. I'm likely not going to be picking this game up at least until sometime next year anyway since I normally wait a long while before picking up single-player games (so that they can be patched up to near perfection, and sold for a sale price).

But even then, should I hold out even longer for a 'possible' Director's Cut version of the game? First of all, a DC isn't even guaranteed, and even then It'll likely be a year and a half until any announcement for one is given. Oh well, I guess I'll play it by ear. I'll have plenty of other games to catch up on until then.

It’s hard to say. It’s not guaranteed there is a directors cut. He’s working on other games and has said he wants to make a movie before he gets too old so who knows. If you can wait go for it. Also, tomorrow isn’t guaranteed.

Playing DS1 right now, its not bad but there are things that really makes it annoying especially dealing with the BTs and the constant need to balance the boxes.

Try nabbing a lvl 3 all terrain skeleton. Might help with the balance issue. Scope out shared lockers if you haven’t yet. Might find one in there.
