Just saw a comparison of several settings of a 1060 gtx 6 GB(the one I have) and can play this game at almost 60 fps Epic settings in full HD, and with FSR even higher framerates, will get this for steam for even almost half the price, this is exactly the example why I don't give a rat arse or have the urgency to upgrade to a newer GPU, saw lots of GPU sales last friday, I added several times to my cart a 3070 ti or a 3080 , but at the last second of checkout I always ask myself, why?, why do I need this?, and so I empty my cart lol.

Decent artwork and some basic optimisation go a long way. I tried Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves on a laptop with no dedicated VRAM and it actually ran 🤔

Game is so fun, i hope they make a sequel and really embrace more of the lore of this world, it's so good.

Combat has a nice flow to it. It's hypnotic at times. And yeah, there is definitely a lot of lore to elaborate on.

Nice... I just bought Evil West a couple months ago but never opened it. Now I won't have to. And i hear good things about Plague Tale.

crazyCoconuts138d ago

Plagues Tail Req is good. One of my favorite Dual Sense trigger effects on the slingshot.

--Onilink--138d ago

Nobody Saves the World is amazing too, SkillUp did a great review of it

Samonuske137d ago

On the same boat with evil west still have it unopened.

FinalFantasyFanatic137d ago (Edited 137d ago )

I already bought Evil West on PC just recently, I've owned Nobody Saves the World for a long time, I really loved the first Plague Tale game, I was waiting for it to hit $30 on Steam before I bought it.

Considering the games, this is one of the best months we've had in a while.

thorstein137d ago

I have every one of these on my wishlist. This is great!

I loved the first Plague Tale.

Evil West is so good! Had a blast playing that game. Very fun

isarai155d ago

Seriously, definitely a pre-order I don't regret, and the lore is actually cool as hell

Chocoburger155d ago

Some really interesting games on that list, a few I hadn't heard of.

I'll add one more game, Super Cloudbuilt. What a game! It's a fast paced very challenging 3D platformer and it demands that you continually improve as you progress through the game. It's available on PC / PS4 / XBO.

The game flopped and the studio that made it ran out of money and had to shut down while they were developing their next game. What a shame.

If you like 3D platformers look into Super Cloudbuilt, but avoid the original release Cloudbuilt on PC, it's even harder and has less content.

FreeckyCake155d ago

*crowd applause*

Now that's a game I haven't heard of myself. I'm gonna check it out, thanks!

purple101154d ago (Edited 154d ago )

Wow that looks amazing. Will add it to wishlist and if it goes on sale it will notify.

Got too many games to play but this looks right up my street. Like Sega's vanquish, cell shaded, with more platforming and less shooting, but still 'burst' type movements.

Epic.

I was happy to share the knowledge of this overlooked game with others, however now I got some bad news for you (and possibly others reading this), I just found out that the publishing agreement for Super Cloudbuilt ended awhile back, and the game has been delisted on PS4 / XBO / PC. Only the original Cloudbuilt is available for purchase right now (it has a different publisher).

Super Cloudbuilt will come back, but only for PC, and so if you want it on consoles and didn't already buy it, you'd need a softmodded PS4 to add it yourself, which is unfortunate. The lead developer talks about this on their website:

https://coilworks.se/blog/2...

In the meantime, while the devs are working on getting Super Cloudbuilt back on PC, check out the amazing soundtrack by Jacob Lincke! My three favorite songs are Aerial Walkways, Aurora, and Blood Moon.
