Hunt the shores of the Great Mississippi River with theHunter: Call of the Wild's latest DLC

Neil writes: "It's still the best hunting experience you can get on console and even though theHunter: Call of the Wild has been around for a good few years already, fresh content has kept players interested. Excellent map. I started this morning. I made a challenge for myself.. I arrived to the Mangrove coast, and i tested to see how long I could walk ankle deep on the shorelines. 1.5 mins, and I was ambushed by my first crocodile.

I love this. The gators in Mississippi were (understandably though, as true to life) too passive and just weren't that fun to hunt. The crocs in Australia are a blast though.

Also, I had set my controller down for only a few mins, while I was on my phone I looked up, and there was a large male kangaroo standing defensively as tall as he could. Before I could even pick my controller, he had already attacked me.

Add in the Bantengs, and you have one wild map perfect for people who like animals that fight back.

I'm glad to hear it =) Me, I've been into hunting games since the very first "Deer Hunter" game dropped in the 90s for PC.

Ha yea I remember playing the original Deer Hunter on PC as well!

Although not a hunter in real life, I've always enjoyed hunting in games. But it really took off when I introduced my dad to this game during a visit.

He's not usually much of gamer, except for maybe golf... but he went home and bought his own PS4 after trying it here, now plays this weekly with me online for 3 1/2 years now. He's in his 70s, but has amassed over 1000 hours in the game haha proud of him!

It's our way of spending time together, talk, laugh, hang out bc he lives 4000+ miles overseas in the States. I moved to the EU almost 10 years ago, but nothing ever made us feel so close together as this game has!
