Mobile developer and publisher Boltrend Games has announced the official launch of the new RPG title Fantasy Life Online. The game is now officially available to download for Android and iOS via App Store and Google Play Store.
In a shocking announcement by Level-5, it will end the services of Fantasy Life Online for Japan from the 15th of December, 2021.
I loved the first Fantasy Life on 3DS, but a sequel on mobile was a kick in the nuts. I tried playing it to see if they managed to make it good nonetheless, but in the end it was as bad as almost any other mobile game.
Fantasy Life Online has seen several delays as we reported earlier, but the game finally released in Japan several months ago back in July. Level-5 has not yet announced a release date for fans in the west, but it is likely we will see the game sooner than later. Today a brand new update has been released, adding new features and content for players to enjoy.
Level-5 will attend Tokyo Game Show for the first time in six years this year. The company has opened its official Tokyo Game Show 2018 website and announced its lineup of exhibiting titles.
I loved Fantasy Life, so I decided to try the new Fantasy Life Online in my japanese account. However, I just couldn't think it's fun, because of the free-to-play pitfalls... Pity. Here's hoping for a true sequel.
