Xbox’s Quick Resume Is Perfect For Indecisive Players

TG: I remember when Microsoft announced that the Xbox Series X|S would feature ‘Quick Resume’, a function that allows you to swap between several games almost instantaneously. Many mocked it at the time, “Who needs to play three games at once?”, but, for indecisive people - it’s me, I’m indecisive people - this is an absolutely life changing advancement for gaming on console.”

It is not so much about playing multiple games at once. For me, i can just suspend the game, and come back to it weeks later, quick resume works with external HDD's, and upto 5 games simultaneously.

Well yes there is, because it reduces loading times to practically zero, without the need for having to save the game, and then go through all the menu's to load the game once you want to play again.

Believe it or not, it is a great feature that is used every time i turn my xbox on and play a game.

What if you do not play every day, and want to "resume" your game every few days, a week or so? you going to hate on them too?

regardless of timescale utilised, quick resume is a neat feature to have. My comment was also created to display that the feature does not cease if you shut the console down etc, and a game will stay in suspended mode until the player releases.

You can save yourself that all important 1 min of load time.
Don't forget to go to the toilet first otherwise you'll cancel out that time saving efficiency!
