People have been clamoring for samurai-based games ever since the release of Ghost Of Tsushima. That is the reason Trek To Yomi caught everyone’s attention in this year’s E3. And if you are looking for something similar, this week’s Spotlight is on a game called The Spirit Of The Samurai. Literally is in the name since inspirations lie in Japanese mythology. It is an upcoming 2.5D Metroidvania being developed at Digital Mind, a 3D animation studio.
The Spirit of the Samurai is a 2D metroidvania influeced by classic stop-motion animation and inspired by Japanese mythology. The Spirit of the Samurai is coming in 2024.
