The 30 Greatest SNES Games of All Time

From Xfire: "When it comes down to it, what elevates the SNES above the rest of its ilk (including other Nintendo consoles that came after it) are the games created during its reign. As most members of the geek fandom will contend, the Super Nintendo has one of the best, even the absolute best, game libraries. While there are mediocre to stinker games in the library, the ratio of good to great games is more extensive. That is no small feat, considering the SNES had 700+ official games in the North American release (and even more when you include the Japanese and European exclusives)."

I’d have to go with MarioKart. Hands down that was the game that me and my buddies played the most on that system.

Street Fighter 2 Turbo Edition and Madden 93 were popular games for us too.

I won't bother to list 30, but here are a few of my top SNES games:

1. Chrono Trigger
2. Final Fantasy II (IV)
3. Final Fantasy III (VI)
4. Super Mario RPG
5. Zelda: A Link to the Past
6. Secret of Mana
7. Donkey Kong Country
8. Super Mario World
9. Earthbound
10. Super Mario Kart
11. Star Fox
12. Mortal Kombat II

I ended up listing more than I anticipated, and I am sure I forgot a few, but SNES is an amazing system. In my opinion, it is timeless, unlike the consoles that came afterwards. There is just something about the 16-bit era that is just fantastic.

In the past yes but last gen amd has gotten cheaper and there new cards are on the horizon making 6k even cheaper.

The arc cards are no longer made by intel but asus/asrock has some the next line battlemage is coming out prices tbd.

Do to the longer software development its always best to go amd over intel if its not to much more money even though intel is a strong gpu i own 2/4 card versions.
